Friends With Thoughts

You continue your walk back towards the Syndicate and the entire time your mind just thinks about the two choices that this so called Shade left you with. You either let him take care of your problem and you don't have to worry about it at all, but the issue is that eventually the bounty will get placed on your head again and you'll always have to be looking over your shoulder. On the other side, Shade will tell you who the person was that shot you and you could take your own revenge on them. Shade would take the bounty off your head which means you would be safe for the most part but you would own him one favor. A favor that he could choose anything he wanted. He could make you betray your allies, attack your own city or maybe he would make it something simple like defending him in a war. Either way, the choice was tough and the stakes were as high as could be.

Step by step you ventured back into the Syndicate, straight through the gates and down the main stretch of the city. You could either go talk with Karisi, see Sylvius or Felix, shoot the shit with Zoe or just go hang out with Lexie. All four sounded like perfect ideas in your mind and either way you could probably talk to any of them and they would help you decide the path to take.

You still wanted to be cautious though because if you told your friends about Shade and how he was here in the Syndicate then maybe bad things could happen. Especially since that sleazeball of a person said he would hurt your friends if you said anything.

Sylvius and Felix would be the most understanding and that's two different heads which could help you with your thoughts. They are also male companions and might bring a more reasonable response if you hypothetically brought up the issue with them. You would also most likely have a few drinks with them which meant it would be easier to talk about. The issue is that you could maybe let something slide out that you shouldn't and that wouldn't be good for either of them.

With Karisi, she is your Queen. She's always looking out for you but at the end of the day, she's always looking out for herself as well. You would have to tread lightly with Karisi though because if she started to worry about you or even suspect something was adrift then she may press the issue more and cause even more problems. Just speaking your mind with her would be pretty beneficially though and maybe she would be able to see things that you wouldn't have thought of as she is quite the intelligent and remarkable women.

Lexie is the person you easily trust the most. You could spill your entire guts out to your fiance and she would obviously tell you what you needed to hear. You knew back in your chambers cuddling with her on your bed you could fill her in on the entire situation. Just you and her, telling her everything. But part of you didn't want to bring her in on this situation because she just got done worrying so hard hoping you would wake up for the longest time and right now you don't really want to give her another issue to worry about, especially an issue which could cause even more trouble to you.

Finally, there is Zoe and even though she isn't the most mature and probably wouldn't have the greatest advice for you. She would still easily listen to you and she's always speaking her mind. You could let her know your thoughts and just hear her out. Maybe if she just kept talking which she's so good at she would eventually let loose some good advice. You knew Zoe looked up to you and would never tell you something that would get you in trouble so even though she may be the least qualified to talk with, she still could give good advice.

As you reach the crossroads in the Syndicate you look at the different directions you could take. To your right, you could go to the castle and speak with Karisi. To your left you go towards the Villa to find Zoe's room. If you continue straight forward, you would go down the mountain and then either go to the Spirits to see Sylvius and Felix or go back to your chambers to see Lexie.

"Ugh..." you groan out and your mind tries to race around the possibilities.

Stalling for a few minutes you take one final deep breath as your mind finally decides on the people you want to talk with...
