Set out and try to find a cure for Miranda and Isabelle's mortality

"Stay here." you say after you finish breakfast and head to the door.

"Where are you going?" Miranda asks as she puts the dishes in the sink.

"To see my brother. I'll be right back."

Yeah, you brother of mind is the smartest orc you know, he even knows some magic, and he's certain to know how to increase a human's life span. You walk into his clinic, where as always, he's with a patient, one of the human mates, who's getting a physical. "Hey, brother." you say.

"Hello, just a minute. I'll be right with you."

You wait in the corner as he finishes. The middle aged woman walks past you without a word, and your brother hugs you. "Good to see you, brother. Haven't seen you since your celebration party. How have you been?"

"Great. It's been the best couple of months of my life. My two mates are simply wonderful."

Your brother smiles and pats your shoulder. "Wonderful. I'm very happy for you. Did you want something?"

"Actually, yes. It's been brought to my attention that I will outlive my two mates."

Your brother sighs and nods. "Yeah. That's the danger of taking humans as mates. You just now realized this?"

You scratch the back of your head. "Well, I've been so happy that I just kind of forgot about it."

"Do you want to get rid of them?"

You shake your head. "No, of course not. But I don't want them to die either."

"You want to extend their lives, don't you?"

"Yes."

Your brother takes a deep breath and walks over to his cabinets, looking over some books. "Unfortunately, that's beyond my skill."

"There has to be a way!"

"Oh, there's a way. But to say it's dangerous is an understatement."

"What do you mean?"

Your brother shows you a page in one of his books and says, "I mean, you have to consult a witch. And they would sooner kill a male before even considering helping them."
