Madison

In the end, choosing Chloe just felt too wrong to Gavin, something that would leave him feeling guilty. Victoria felt much the same way, though the guilt would be toward Zack instead. That really only left him with one choice. "I guess... Madison," he finally said reluctantly, not truly sure if this was really a good idea.

"Madison, hunh?" replied Kurt. "Not sure that's who I would have gone with had I been you, but it's your choice." He paused. "Actually, from what you said about her brother chasing all the guys away from her, it might not be such a bad idea. If she is chafing against her brother's protection, she might actually be open to thwarting him and might not be as picky about her partner."

Gavin, not noticing the implied insult, wasn't so sure. "But what do we do about Brandon? I really don't want him mad at me, and he will beat me up if he finds out I did anything with Madison."

"Well, Brandon does have a girlfriend with him on this trip as well as a sister," Kurt stated. "He can only protect one of them at a time. If we can get the group to split up, with both girls in different places, he'll have to choose which one he protects. If he chooses his sister, you play it cool, maybe try to get closer to one of the other girls. But if he chooses his girlfriend, that's when you make your move." Kurt finished, a wide grin spreading across his face.

"Why would he need to protect Ashley?" Gavin replied, a look of confusion on his face.

"I told you I would help you, didn't I?" Kurt responded, putting an arm across the young boy's shoulders. "If I show interest in Ashley, he should start getting protective of her, and that's when you should begin to find opportunities with the sister. Of course, there is the possibility that he doesn't get as protective of his girlfriend, but if that happens we will just need to come up with a different plan."

"What about you? Are you actually going to go after Ashley?" Gavin still wasn't sure what Kurt would be expecting of him in return.

"If she is interested, why not. I told you already. I want as many of the girls here as I can get, and if I can get in that petite blonde's pants without bringing the wrath of her boyfriend down on me, I'm not going to say no. Don't worry though. I'll leave my cousin to you," Kurt finished with a wink and a clap to the other boy's shoulder before moving away. "Anyway, we should probably start grabbing what we came down here for. My cousin might get suspicious if we take too long. We'll have plenty of time later to talk, and I will let you know if I need you to run interference for me."

Kurt opened a cupboard and pulled an air mattress out from inside. Handing it to Gavin, he told him, "Here, take this and one of the cots upstairs. Give the cot to your friend then take the air mattress to my cousin. Wouldn't hurt to score a few points by helping her set it up. I'll take the Latina's cot to her then bring mine to our room. Sound like a plan?"

Gavin nodded slowly. Kurt's plan made sense, though he wasn't sure whether he would even be able to say anything when he gave the air mattress to Heather. Moving over to where several cots were leaned up against the wall, he grabbed one and made his way out of the storage room.

As Kurt watched Gavin leave the room, he grinned once more. This trip was looking like it was going to be a lot of fun.
