Cindy checks up on Spencer

Spencer pulled up at Carter Junior High School, where Amy was waiting. As she entered the car, Cindy came over and knocked on his window. Spencer wound it down, hoping Cindy didn't want to play her games in front of his daughter.

"Hey Spence, you okay?" She said.

"Yeah. Why you ask?"

"You didn't reply to my text, that's all?"

"Sorry. I got caught up with my freelance work."

"That's fair. Just wanted to make sure you're okay?"

"Thanks."

"See you."

"Bye."

Spencer took off as Amy teased "I think Miss Lynn likes you."

"We're just working together for prom."

"Sure Dad, whatever you say."

Spencer wasn't quite sure what had gotten into Amy. Maybe people were catching on to Cindy and him. Not that it mattered. The moms can gossip all they want. He doubted they believed half the conspiracies they came up with anyway. The rest of the day played out much like any other would for both Spencer or Amy.

In bed, Spencer decided to see what Cindy had sent him earlier in the day.

'I think Miss Black likes u ;)'

Spencer decided to send a reply. 'What made you think that?'

'she asked mee if all the guys in town are as hot as you.'

'what did you tell her?'

'That your hung like a horse ;)'

'Really?'

'yep'

'naughty girl'

'well its the truth'

'maybe you should give her my number?'

'Im not doing all the hard work for you.'

'shame'

Cindy replied with a seflie of her lying naked on her bed. 'goodnight'

Spencer put the phone down, disappointed that Cindy wasn't up for more phone sex. Maybe she was truly tired, or maybe this was just another game she was playing to keep him on edge. The confusion would keep his mind occupied whilst he tried to get some sleep.
