A Second Marriage Proposal

A week after you received your Daniels' Injection and received the offers put forth by Khayone, you get a letter from a very old friend of yours. His name is Axel Watson, one of your best friends when you were still a part of the Moonfang pack. The last time you saw him was the night your father had run off with you to start the Bloodrose pack. You remember crying, knowing that it was either leave the pack and live, but never see him again, or stay and spend one last night with the people you loved before the pack leader killed you all for being 'traitors'. He had held you close, the smell of smoke and metal filling your nose.

Axel had been the only one you thought as beautiful at the time and you can still remember how he looked vividly. He had messy blonde hair that reminded you of gold coins and skin nearly as white as the mountain's snow. His eyes had been a beautiful shade of brown with flecks of green, similar to tree bark of the willow you played under. He had towered over you and was year older than you, but was always so gentle and sweet. He told horrible puns that never failed to make you smile and used his apprenticeship as a blacksmith to make you small little gifts. Your eyes drift to the only one you had managed to grab the night you had ran, a beautiful wolf howling at the moon made of iron. It was one of your most valued possessions.

You read the letter, surprised by what you find inside. It reads:

Dearest Rowan,

It has been many moons since I last saw you, when we were just children under a merciless leader. I don't know if you remember me, but I hope you would not forget your best friend. If you have no recollection of me, do not feel obligated to respond to this letter or the offer that lies further within. If I do not hear from you within a month of sending out this letter, I will assume you have no interest and will move on gracefully.

Again, the last time I saw you was when we were both wolves of the Moonfang. The night you ran was the night I vowed to find a way for us to be together once more. So, the night that I turned eighteen, I decided to make a pack of my own. Sadly, many of the wolves who pledged their loyalty to me turned their backs on our dreams at the last minute. We are currently a small group of five, all wolves we grew up with who were treated unfairly by the rest of the pack. I would offer you membership, but I doubt that you would want to leave your pack. So instead, I propose that my group and I join your group, as well as a proposal of marriage between the two of us.

You have not left my thoughts since the night you left and I believe I can be the husband you want and need. I have been revealed as an Alpha and I can prove to you time and time again that I can protect you from those that want to hurt you. With our marriage, we could make the Bloodrose pack the strongest it's ever been and handle anyone who wishes to take what is yours.
