Fuu tries to sense magic within the temple

Robin shivered, looking around at the statues, largely reminiscent of the lizardmen they had only just fled from only moments before. Emmaline seemed to notice her, giving the younger Bravo a questioning look.

Fuu, however, was far less focused on the physical. She sat down, near the center of the chamber, cross her legs, and closed her eyes. Ignoring the statues almost entirely, Fuu instead began attuning herself to the spiritual and supernatural energies flowing through the temple. Though it seemed ancient, the temple didn't seem quite as abandoned as she had first expected, and it certainly warranted investigating.

"Doesn't this place just give you the willies?" Emmaline asked Robin, who nodded enthusiastically in response, her hand straying near the hilt of her rapier as she leaned in to investigate one of the statues closer.

Fuu, quickly tuned out her friend's conversation. She centered herself, leaning into the magical flow around her and trying to sense any trace of good or evil energies, if this temple wasn't abandoned, then it would almost certainly house some powerful magical energy.

As she let herself drift outward, feeling through the waves around her, Fuu felt... something. It was difficult to say exactly what it was-- the presence was far more alien than anything she had felt before, but it certainly seemed to posses a powerful presence. It was so powerful, in fact, that it seemed to be blotting out most of the strands of magic, Fuu would have normally felt.
