Finally encounter a person

This particular section of alleyways that you had just entered seemed more promising as it was brighter than before. You wander the empty street in short quiet steps like a mouse threading through a field. More of the strange graffiti was everywhere. This time, it was accompanied by all manner of obscene drawings, ranging from dicks to busty stick figures accompanied with more ineligible words. All of them were heavily sexualized that was all in all in poor taste. There was now a strange salty smell in the air whenever you pass by certain corners, finding yourself pinching your nose as you pass through some archways. The tiles of the sidewalks were stained and dirty, so you opted to walk in the middle of the road underneath the streetlights.

Finally, after what might have been forever of walking, you spot a figure toddling away from you. The first thing that came to mind was to run over there immediately to seek help. When you were within meters, you see that it was a male local dressed in a singlet and shorts. You were suspicious of him to be on his lonesome at this hour, but you did not have a choice. You needed a phone to call a cab, or the police, or something that would make you feel a little safer. You decided to take the risk.

"Excuse me! I'm lost! Can you help me please?" You called out as you approached him.

The man turned around. He was a slightly pudgy fellow with a friendly smile. You thought that he might be able to help after all.
