Armor of the Sunrider

As Lexie stays outside and Rivianne guides you in her little hut, you see a mannequin standing there with a light cloth blanket covering it, your armor must be underneath.

"Okay okay, ready?" she is ecstatic to show you.

"Let's do it!" you cheerfully reply.

She grabs the corner of the blanket and pulls hard, the blanket flies from the mannequin almost instantly, causing the entire armor to come out into view. "Ta da!!!"

"Wow..." is all you can muster as your eyes just look over the piece.

The armor itself must have been made from a deceased Sabre Tooth because the entire armor itself looked almost identical to a sabre toothed tiger. The entire hide, the color, the short fur, the paws and claws draped over the shoulders, little patches of longer fur around the next of the armor, almost like the mane of the tiger.

"Okay, here's the run down!" her hand trails to the boots "Boots, fairly normal, not a whole lot to do with them, I harden the Sabre Tooth hide with wax to stiffen it up. You can see they are just normal boots for the most part, but they are very sturdy and also only go up towards your ankles, I wanted to give you plenty of mobility with your feet. At the top of the ankles, I laced the hem with bone shards of the sabre tooth, so you get a nice extra protection with the boots. Oh, Also..." she shows the bottom of the boot "little spikes on the bottom of these boots, I used tiny pieces of the claws, this will help you dig your boots into the ground for added leverage if needed. Plus, if you stomp on someone, it'll hurt that much worse. Almost like if a sabre tooth is clawing into you!"

Her hand continues to move up "The Pants, more leather hide from a sabre tooth. As you can see..." she points all around the calf and shin "I enforced this area with another stripe of hide. This makes it a lot more defensible if you get slashed or stabbed in your leg. It's also hardened enough to take a fairly nice slash with a sword or dagger if needed. These lines here" she points to some darker spots on that run up the side of the legs, which look to be coated with small blacken gems all around the outside "More reinforced as well. If you get attacked from the side into the leg, the blow could still technically crush your bones, but it'll definitely prevent a slash. I did infuse these darker spots with black gemstones as well, it doesn't make it much stronger, but can help dull a blade in the process. Plus, it looks cool." she grins ear to ear.

Her hand goes up to the Tunic "Now it gets interesting, obviously, long sleeves" she points "Although I lined the sleeves with steel mesh. I know you said all leather, but I figured a steel mesh on the arms would be beneficial. You can block more dulled blades and it's super light weight, will be keep you mobile. There are two little hidden compartments here in the wrists, you can hold a very small hidden dagger if you want, maybe something else?" she thinks "A poison pill if you get captured? Some medicinal pain pills possibly? The choice is yours." The chest, extra padded with hide, fur, then more hide. You can see the pattern of the Tunic is just like that of a Sabre tooth. I basically took his hide, boiled it, hardened it, did it again, and bam, presto! As you can see, the arms and claws of the Sabre tooth kind of wrap over your shoulder and down towards your pecs. It's added protection and when we add the final touch, you'll look insane. Finally, kept some hair a little longer where your neck would be. Makes it look like a mane kind of, plus it'll be a little extra protection around your next, and keep you warm in the cold" she giggles.

She smiles bright "And the best part!" her hand reaches behind the head of the mannequin "Now I said you didn't want any type of helmet as it limits your vision...but I included a type of hood, you can always keep it down if needed but I figured as you're walking around it would look bad ass!" and with a flip of her hand, the hood turns over the mannequins head. It looked like the head of a sabre tooth tiger draped over it. The two top fangs of the tiger look to go right to the sides of each eye, running down the face to your lips. What really stood out though, was instead of normal eyes, she infused a darkened red ruby where each eye was, those red eyes, those long sharp teeth.

"Wow..." you continue to look up and down the armor somewhat speechless.

"Okay, now try it on, I'll go wait outside with Lexie. I want to see her impression!" she smiles at you more "If you get confused or need help, just shout!" she says over her shoulder as she leaves the hut.
