The Bravos are unable to follow the trail

Unfortunately, the darkness made it almost impossible to keep tracking. The group kept heading forward in what may or may not be the right direction for a ways - all they could know for sure was that there were occasional signs of reptilian travel.

After a time, Becky returned to the group, holding up a hand to signal them to stop near the most recently located sign of reptilian activity.

"Sorry guys, its too dark. Honestly, we're basically just wandering forward at this point..." she said, frowning.

"Alright, it might be time for plan B," Fuu nodded "If we can't track them successfully on foot, we'll just have to make them come to us. I know you guys aren't too excited about walking into an ambush, but I'm sure we'll be okay. Let's head back to the caravan and wait for them to attack."

No one was happy about it, but they all agreed it was the best option available, so the group set about trying to follow their own footprints back the way they came.
