Two Weeks Later...

Two weeks went by where you basically did nothing but continue training most of the day and then at night you would tend to fool around or just overall enjoy the presence of Lexie.

The Syndicate did not want to attack into Rathkin until they recovered some of their troops. They wanted to sit back and lick their battle wounds and then make a march onto Rathkin. During the downtime, Tianna was actually declared the new leader of the Sunriders. By default it fell to either Tianna or Ashe but because Ashe didn't care to lead she politely turned down the offer and let Tianna take the reigns.

Tianna was quite a good leader. Not as strong as past leaders but she had a ton of energy, anger and willpower beside her. Her speeches weren't the best and she was quite short tempered, but as were many of the other Sicilian Syndicate warriors so it was actually a perfect match.

As for the high commanders for Tianna, Ashe was still one but there were two more spots open for the high commanders.

You twirl your body, slashing through the air which easily gets blocked by a blade held straight up "Maybe you should?" you ask holding the blade in spot.

Lexie jumps back, thrusting the sword towards you, which you easily shift your hips back while your sword guards the blow, pushing her blade off to the side "I don't know..." she quickly leaps to the right, slashing as you once more, missing your body completely "I think I could but..."

You slash left and right in succession, Lexie easily blocking both hits "Why not?"

She slashes downwards which gets blocked, slashes up to the right, blocked again "If it was Ashe, then for sure...but with Tianna..." she crunches her face down as she's thinking.

"Ahhhh!" you spin around, slashing as hard as you can into a wooden dummy behind you, the blade gets stuck over an inch deep into the wood "She does have quite the short fuse."

"Yeah..." Lexie tosses her blade to the ground beside the dummy "Plus then I have to be at her beck and call anytime she requests..."

"And we all know you dislike taking orders." you wink at her.

"Damn straight!" she stands up straight and smiles your direction "I'm free spirited!" gushing with pride.

"Anyway, it's been a long day, I need to go wash up." you mention

"Let's head back to the Sunrider Villa, we can use the baths there."

You just smile and nod as the two of you walk side by side out of the Training Grounds, into the mountain on your way back top side. Unfortunately for the two of you, as you're just about to exit the Training Grounds you hear someone call out your names from behind, stopping you dead in your tracks.
