Gavin Accidentally Makes A Plan

While Zack snuck out of his room early to have his conversation with Brandon, Gavin was waking up next to the beautiful sight of a sleeping Victoria, resting just on his shoulder. Ever since everything happened with Ashley and Kurt, Gavin noticed that Victoria was becoming closer, more affectionate with him. This all culminated at the end of last night when she dropped a bomb of a surprise, saying she, in fact, loved Gavin. Gavin, being very new to all this, had no clue what to say or do about that. He wasn't sure he knew what love felt like, or how to tell if that's what he felt for Victoria.

Before Victoria said this the only complicated part about their relationship was the sex, now Gavin wasn't sure what was expected of him. Maybe Zack can help me...I mean, he knows things about girls, he dated Lisa, he's with Chloe now and...well, to be honest, he did make Ashley crazy about him. No, that's fucking stupid, how can Zack tell me about my feelings, they're mine, not his after all. Gavin thought while occasionally glancing at a still sleeping Victoria, But he could still tell me about what a girl means by saying, I love you, and besides, I can't just ignore it, that's a pretty fucking big thing just to say. Gavin continued to think before feeling his heart starting to pick up, and a small worried grimace spread over his face, Shit, what if she wants to talk about that when she wakes up...I'm not ready for that! I need to talk to Zack! He needs to talk me through this! He internally yelled, starting to panic.

Unfortunately for the worried Gavin, his internal actions were causing his body to have very real reactions, most notably in the form of some nervous shaking. This small vibration transferred over to the light sleeping Victoria, waking her rather quickly, "Hmm, Gav?" Victoria softly whispered out, her eyes still closed, "You okay?"

"Huh? What?" Gavin shot back, coming off a bit louder than he wanted, "Oh, Vicky, yeah I'm fine...I was...I was just thinking about today," He replied, coming up with something on the spot,

"Oh, that's nice..." Victoria sighed back while snuggling closer, "What were you thinking?" She asked with a yawn,

"Thinking?" Gavin repeated while his eyes went wide, he quickly racked his brain for something, anything that not only could help him but sound believable, "Um...I was thinking...that we...that we could...Go on a double date!" He suddenly exclaimed before immediately wanting to punch himself in the face for saying that,

Victoria finally opened her eyes, looking up at Gavin who held his breath, expecting her to call him out on his white lies, "With Zack And Chloe?" She asked tilting her head curiously, "I don't think they'd be up to that..."

"Y-Yeah, you're probably right," Gavin sheepishly agreed, relieved that the idea was shot down immediately,

"But then again," Victoria murmured out causing Gavin to purse his lips, "It might do them some good to get some distance from the cabin for awhile, what'd you think, like lunch? Movie? Mini-Golf?"

"I-uh...I was just thinking is all..." Gavin mumbled back causing Victoria to smile while she laid her head back down on Gavin's chest,

"Hmm, us four just out on the town, no worries, no problems." She let out a soft giggle, "You really are a smart fucking guy, Gavin,"

"I am?" He weakly asked, realizing that his odd lie just became an authentic truth,

"Yep, and this would be our first real date, like going out, out, you know?" Victoria said with a giddy look, quickly sitting up she gave a small clap, "Oh this is gonna be so much fun!"

"Yeah...totally," Gavin weakly agreed, "B-but we haven't even asked Zack or Chloe yet," He pointed out, though Victoria didn't seem to care in the slightest,

"Well, if they don't want to then we can still go, it doesn't have to be a double!" She chimed back while getting out of the bed, "I'm gonna need to shower, get a good outfit, put my makeup on," Victoria began to list while dancing around the room, digging through her dresser happily,

"Vicky, are you sure this is a good idea?" Gavin asked as he watched her mumble to herself, denying certain clothing options, "I've-I've been wrong before, I thought a movie night would be a good idea," He pointed out with a weak laugh, remembering how easily that failed,

"That's when we first kissed Gavin," Victoria sang back with a smirk, "Everything you've done this week has been perfect for us, and this won't be any different." She continued while walking over to her nightstand, opening the drawer, digging through her makeup next, "Should I keep it light? Well, actually that depends, where are we going? I don't want to look like a complete slut if we're going somewhere laid back,"

"I...don't know," Gavin replied with a small sigh, "Like I said, I was just thinking,"

"That's okay," Victoria happily replied with a shrug, "I can figure that out, why don't you go ask Zack and Chloe, see if they are gonna join,"

"Wait...you want me-" Gavin asked turning slightly pink while Victoria walked to their door, unlocking it and opening it up,

"Yeah, their your friends after all, just go over and ask them while I go shower. We'd have to leave soon if we wanted to enjoy the day, it's a few hours drive from here to town," Victoria immediately interrupted while slipping out of the room, leaving Gavin sitting in bed alone, wondering just how the hell he just let that happen. With a nervously beating heart, Gavin reluctantly pulled himself out of bed and walked out of his room, apparently he was now trying to put together a surprise double date with his two friends.
