He Walks In On A Sore Sight

Just before Gavin and Victoria charged through the cabin into their room, Zack was running back inside to find his now missing girlfriend. Chloe had retreated to her room, like a frightened child, thanks to Ashley's head games. She hadn't planned on entirely disappearing, in fact, she had only planned on taking a few minutes to gather herself before returning before anyone even knew she was gone. Unfortunately, once she got back to her room, she collapsed into bed and curled up, crying as she tried to gain control of herself.

She hated the fact that even though she threw everything she could at Ashley, Ashley ended up on top. She called her bluff easily on spilling her secret to Brandon, due to the straightforward fact that Zack would more than likely be attacked. The last thing Chloe would do is put Zack in danger; she couldn't bear the thought of something happening to him. Then, of course, Ashley had to fill her brain with the images of Zack and her in the bathroom. Taunting her with the fact she was more experienced, Chloe couldn't shake the feeling that Zack could actually like her more and soon it'd be over.

This is what continued to run through Chloe's mind for nearly an hour, with no end in sight. By the time Zack had finally noticed that she had been gone way too long, she felt physically exhausted. When Zack suddenly entered the room, all she could do was look at him with red puffy eyes, "Jesus, Chloe," Zack tentatively whispered out, "Are you okay?"

Chloe pursed her lips and slowly sat up, staring at him before breaking down once again. Zack's eyes went wide, and he quickly ran to her side, jumping onto the bed and pulling her close to him, "Please," Chloe whispered out in a broken voice, "Don't leave."

Zack instantly took this as Chloe asking him to stay with her in the room, though for Chloe this meant much more. Zack began to rub his hand up and down her back, "Don't worry, I'm not going anywhere." He assured her as he felt her weight shift, pushing him down on the bed. As he laid flat on the bed, Chloe curled up next to him, keeping her head buried in his shoulder, and continued to weep. "What happened Chloe?" Zack asked as he continued to rub her back comfortingly,

Chloe thought about it for a minute, but she just couldn't bring herself to tell Zack about Ashley. She couldn't look so helpless about this to him; she wouldn't. "I don't know Zack, I just need you here with me," Chloe whispered out as she let out a few quick sniffs,

"Of course, Chloe, whatever you need, I'm here for you." Zack murmured back as he pulled her a little closer to him, confusion ran through Zack's head as he couldn't see any real reason for Chloe to be this destroyed, "Chloe...is it me? Was it what I did?" He asked after a moment, sounding truly ashamed,

"No, it's not you at all, you're the only thing that's keeping me together right now," Chloe replied as she turned her head, now resting on's Zack's shoulder, his embrace comforting and reliving her. The two sat in silence for minutes, the only sound in the room being their breaths. Suddenly they both heard Victoria yell out to Gavin. Chloe's eyes widened, and she looked up at Zack, who looked back at her trying to hold back a smile, "You heard that, right?" Chloe asked finally letting out an amused smile,

"You mean, did I just hear Victoria Walker scream for Gavin to fuck her?" Zack asked breaking into a grin, "Uh, yeah, kinda hard not to have."

Chloe lowered her head, a smile still on her face, just thinking it over before she felt Zack's chest starting to rock lightly. She quickly peered up and saw him with his eyes closed, silently laughing for a moment before letting some slip out. His laughs soon grew louder and became infectious, as Chloe began to giggle too. Soon enough the two were laughing wildly only to grow even louder as they heard Victoria yell out for the second time. Chloe buried herself in Zack's arm while Zack brought a pillow to his mouth, they couldn't contain themselves, but the least they could do was muffle their sounds so they wouldn't hear them.

It took nearly five minutes for them to come down from their laughter, both of them almost in pain at that point. Zack felt relieved to see Chloe start to come out from whatever had overtaken her. He slowly sat up and warmly smiled at her, "Hey,"

"Hi." Chloe replied, very much in control of herself this time, "I'm sorry, I..." She said nearly seeming embarrassed,

"It's fine, as long as you're okay," Zack replied instantly, once again removing worry and doubt from Chloe's mind,

"I am, I'll be alright." Chloe replied letting out few small nods, "Thank you."

Zack continued to look at Chloe for a moment before reaching out and brushing her hair to the side, slowly pushing it behind her ear, "I love you, Chloe." He said keeping his eyes locked on hers,

Chloe let out a smile; sure Zack had said that just after they had sex, but that could have been in the heat of the moment. But now, with him perfectly aware and in control he still said it. She pushed forward, locking lips with him immediately, "I love you too." Chloe said as she broke the kiss and rested her head against his.
