A Threat Builds

You sit in the living room with Rin, Rider, Illya, and Liz. The air is tense. Though nobody says anything about your latest romp with Rin, all eyes are on you. On the table is breakfast, mostly eaten. Illya is the first to break the silence. 'So. Caster's become a big problem. Even with your servant siphoning her influx of Mana, she's getting strong enough to defeat Berserker." Illya says.

The heads in the room turn towards Illya, and a weight lifts from your shoulders as she begins talking. "I have to make a move soon. I'm going to stay here and start planning. Going back to the Castle now would just take too much time." You nod. "I'm going after Shinji." You say. "He tried to kill Tohsaka because she refused him. Not to mention he corrupted his servant and is abusing Sakura. He must be stopped."

Illya nods. "Good luck then, Shirou. My advice is don't fight Saber in the open. She'll kill you. Choose a place where your servant has the advantage." You nod and look over to Rider. "Rider, what's your recommendation?" You ask. She looks over to you and says, "We should choose the roof of a tall building. It offers her less maneuverability having a small area to work in. My agility will not be hampered." You nod.

"I know just the place. Rin, any chance you can send a fake message to lure him?" You say. Rin nods. "It would be my pleasure. He's so full of himself that there's no way he won't come. But you'd better be prepared, Shirou." You nod and stand to your feet. "Right. I think we're settled. Illya, Rider and I are going. Tonight." Illya hugs you tightly once again. "Be careful, onii-chan!" She exclaims. "Don't worry. We will. Make yourselves at home. I'll be back soon." You say as you head out the door with Rider.
