Do what you can.

You learn what happened again and basically everything you already learned was exactly what happened. The Syndicate got there late, Errian was already invading Rathkin's outer city. The Syndicate flanked them, killing tons of their forces. After that, Luna, Eleanor and a group of Sunrider's went to talk with the King. Shortly after, a second wave of Errian surrounded the city again, most of the Sunriders were still in the outer city, just a handful outside away from the city. When Errian's second **** attacked, at first Rathkin didn't help at all, until the battle was again going full ****. Then, Rathkin backstabbed the Syndicate, killing many of the Sunrider's and eventually driving out the second wave from Errian.

Lexie was on the outside, so was Ashe and Tianna with about 100 or so other Sunriders. Ashe and Lexie along with about 20 other Sunriders went back into the city after the war to try to find out what happened to Luna & Eleanor, the rest, stayed outside.

"I can't believe Rathkin would do this..." you mumble to Lexie "So fucking pathetic."

"Fuck Rathkin. Give me your sword, I'm going to go out there and kill those fuckers down there."

"Lexie." you place a hand on each of her shoulders, holding her tight, looking into her "You're going to leave. Climb out that window."

"Fuck no. I'm not leaving behind my sisters!" she snarls

"Lexie!" you shout a little louder than intended "You need to get outside of the city, find Tianna, and tell her what's going on. If you don't, Tianna is going north, taking control of the Sunriders and will get the entire Syndicate **** to travel south to Rathkin."

"Good! Show these Rathkin scum the power of the Syndicate."

"You'll be dead by then. You know it. I know it." you plead with her "Tell Tianna to give me just some more time. I will get Luna out of here. I will get Eleanor and Ashe out. I will do my best. I just need more time."

"How would you even do that?" she's bearing her teeth now, still angry "Ask nicely?" she jests "Fuck Rathkin. Kill them all."

"Please Lexie...Please."

She looks back at you, the fire still burning in her eye, the rage that's built up. Such a strong woman.

"Even if I wanted to leave, how could I..." she finally lets out

"Climb out this window. Stay in the shadows, travel north around the outer edges. Eventually once you reach a scouts tower, drop down into the mote. From there, walk back this direction, you'll eventually come across a sewage system, if you follow that inwards, it leads to the slums. The slums will eventually lead to the outer city and from there..."

"How do you know all this?" she questions

"Let's just say I wasn't always a warrior in a high end kingdom." you sigh "I fought duels to the **** in the slums for many years." your eyes shift to the ground "Now please...will you leave? Will you do this for me?"

After a long bout of silence, you feel Lexie's finger get placed on your chin, pulling your eyes up to her. She smiles at you "Thank you, Darien. I will."

"Before you go..." you're cut off.

Lexie leans in, her lips mesh into yours but her **** causes her to whimper from the gash in her lip. Still though, you both wrap your arms around each other, hugging each other, making out for that brief moment.

The kiss slowly breaks...still looking at each other you both can't help but smile. "Now hit me." you order Lexie "Hit me hard."

"Huh?" she questions, surely confused

"I unbound you. You hit me, knocked me out and escaped." you smirk at her "I'll give you 5 minutes, should be enough time to get to the scout tower and down into the mote."

Lexie still looks a bit worried "Trust me." you motion towards her, placing your hands on your hips and tightening up your body, readying yourself for the upcoming punch.

And just like that, you fall backwards to the ground from a huge right handed slug. You cup your face and feel a slight stream of blood drip down from your forehead. Lexie quickly jumps over to you, "Don't you die on me now." she gives you a quick peck on the cheek before heading over to the window, looking both ways and climbing out.
