As John showered, he couldn’t help but have his mind wander to the last part of his dream, a sky full of translucent dragons of varying colors. The roars they let out rang inside John’s head, more cries of pain rather than anger. The final one, the black fire…no it wasn’t just black, it had a purple tint to it as well. I’ve never seen dragons like that in any fantasy story. If there’s been one constant with the Abyss is that it sticks a lot to old European lore on fantasy creatures. But those did not match any dragons I remember reading about, even Asian dragons. John thought as he finished up his shower and got out. John cleaned himself off with a towel and made his way to his room, where Idena was lazily spread out on his bed. She had wanted to come and help him shower but he denied her, he needed that time to think and not be distracted by her.

“Idena, I’m finished, you can take a shower now,” John told his loyal harpy, who bounded across the bed, landed right next to him, and wrapped him in a bear hug.
“I’m happy you’re back, master!” she said with enthusiasm.

“Idena, all I did was take a shower. I was gone for, like, 30 minutes,” John said after a sigh.

“I know, master. But…after what happened yesterday, I just don’t want to be away from you,” confessed Idena, her fear shown clearly on her face. After being **** to lose her first family, she could not bear to even entertain the idea of losing her second family, which is exactly what John and the girls had become to her after her reeducation.

John pulled Idena even closer after he heard her words, while he questioned what he did to her, he did admit that it seemed the two of them had become far closer than ever before after that event. He truly did care for her, his first partner.

“Don’t worry, Idena. I’m going to become stronger, so strong that nobody will be able to oppose me and survive!” declared John with an all too serious look on his face. Idena looked up as John talked and when she heard his words, a feeling of relief washed over her, just hearing those words she knew she didn’t have to worry anymore. If John said he would get stronger, than he would, he would protect her and the twins and everything would be alright. And if it wasn’t, she would make sure to please John and keep him happy, since he was far better to be around when he was happy rather than angry.

“Ok, master, I believe you. I’ll go shower now. My feathers have gotten quite dirty recently…” said the half bird-half girl as she gave John a peck on the lips and left. With that out of the way, John made his way over to the crystal to go see how the twins were doing when a bright flash of light appeared and the twins stood in front of his desk once the light had receded.

“John, you’re awake!” the twins said in unison as they gave him a double hug. John hugged them back, happy to see they were ok. He gave each one of them a kiss on the cheek, to which they reciprocated at the same time. That is when John noticed the girls had dressed up rather nicely and had on some make-up.

“Wow, you girls are all made up, going out or something?” questioned John, who wondered which person would ask out his girls.

“Yeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep! Your mom invited us out on a lunch date!” Miho informed John, who raised an eyebrow at this information.
“Wait what?” was all John could muster to say.

“Yes, she was happy to see you have people over, and even happier it was girls. So she invited us out to lunch at the mall to thank us for spending time with you,” Mikuru cleared up John’s confusion, who nodded. That does sound like something mom would do, he thought.

“Ok, sounds good. Have fun with my mom,” John said as he gave the two his blessing.

“Oh don’t worry, I plan to have lots of fun with your mom,” Miho told him with a sly grin on her face. She gave him another quick kiss and bolted out of his room before he could say anything to her.

“Don’t worry, John, I’ll keep her in line,” Mikuru reassured John.

“Thanks. And you make sure to actually have some fun, ok?” John half asked, half told her. MIkuru nodded in agreement and headed off after her sister. John went over to his bed and collapsed onto it. Gamer’s Body had allowed his body to heal during his rest but his mind was another story. The trauma of that event gnawed at his mind. I nearly died, again. No matter what I do, I always seem to be the weakest of whoever I’m around. I need to double my efforts to train. I will protect myself and my girls, no matter who the opponent is! As John stared at the ceiling of his room, he finally noticed the blinking indicator of new pop-ups. John sighed and clicked the button, ready for the torrent of windows that would appear.

“Ah nothing, just got a bunch of achievements from yesterday. Quite a few of them have Gaia being quite sassy with me,” John told his loyal servant. She released a giggle at hearing of John’s achievement troubles.

“You know, I was raised to believe that Gaia was a cruel god who struck down any Abyssal creature that was foolish enough to cross over to this world, yet here I am! And what’s more, you are in constant communication with her! And she helps you become more powerful!” Idena told John, with a look of amazement on her face. “While I was originally bitter that you took me from my nest and **** me here, in a world where a god could kill me at any moment, and a male master who used me instead of me using him. And you did, but I liked it. You…awoke feelings in me that I didn’t know I had. That’s…that’s why I agreed to be your ****. I want you to dominate me.
