Blast of a Horn.

"Annnd I believe that's the Syndicate!" Lexie finally finishes her tour, turning to smile at you.

"Wow." is all you can muster "It's so weird...all the stories I was told growing up was how desolate the Syndicate was. But man...you guys are really striving out here. Water, Riches, Army Strength, Food...even probably the most beautiful woman I've ever seen." you wink at Lexie

"Just probably?" her hands go to her hips as she cocks her head

"Well..." you tease "You haven't seen the royalty in Rathkin yet. The lady who I stayed with while I trained for Nillix. Karisi, she's..." you pause trying to think of a good word to use

"I've heard of her before. Born in the right family at the right time...lucky son of a..." Lexie suddenly gets interrupted by a loud howl of a sound. Almost like an air horn going on. It pierces through the sky, showering the entire Syndicate with an ear piercing screech. It continues for about 3 seconds before stopping. It does that two more times before finally stopping.

"Ahhh..." you're covering your ears "What was that?"

"A gathering." Lexie doesn't even look phased "Luna is calling the Sunrider's to the Training Grounds. Must be an announcement to share."

"A gathering? What for?" you question

"Well gee Darien...considering I Just heard the same horn you did, how the hell would I know what the news is?" she laughs at you

"Oh shush."

"Come on, let's make our way there." Lexie grabs you around the arm, as you walk side by side toward the training grounds.
