A reprimand

"Miss! Yes, you! Come here please!" you call, gesturing to the girl who has just straightened up holding her text book. She smiles prettily, virtually flouncing over to stand in front of you, while her friends huddle and whisper. She's a pretty blonde with teasing eyes and a mischievous quirk to her lips.

"Yes Dean Hawkfeather?" she says, standing demurely, but still managing to exude an aura of teasing sexuality.

"What's your name Miss?"

"Lyndsey White Sir. Have I done something wrong?"

"Miss White, while I know the dress code for this institution does not specifically mention what underwear should be worn, I don't think it's appropriate for you to wear none. And I particularly advise against wearing none and displaying yourself in the manner you just did."

"I'm sorry Sir. I was just..."

"However," you interrupt. "The dress code does speak to the length of skirts, and yours is far too short. Adjust it immediately."

"Sir...I..." she stammers, blushing prettily.

"You rolled it up at the waist, just now while Mr. Sharp and I were speaking. I saw you do it. You can roll it down right now."

"Um...sir...."

"Right now Miss White," you snap.

The girl looks at you for a second, then carefully rolls her skirt back down to just below mid-thigh. Smoothing the pleats down she smiles prettily and turns as if for inspection.

"Sorry Dean Hawkfeather," she says sweetly. "Is this satisfactory?"

"It is now," you reply. "I strongly suggest that the next time you drop your books, you don't bend over from the waist. Certainly when you neglect to wear panties."

"Yes Dean Hawkfeather. I'm sorry," she says contritely, mischief still twinkling in her eyes.

"Very well. That will be all Miss White."

You watch her flounce away and can't help muttering "These girls are insane," under your breath, before turning back to Darnell. "Thanks for your help with Miss Vallon. I appreciate it."

"Any time," he smiles. "If you don't need anything else, I'm going to grab some lunch."
