What? If that message was supposed to make sense, you're missing the meaning. It's difficult to say what he even means you need to be safe from. Any amount of time to look it over, is lost by the teacher glaring at you. You have to put your phone away. That message already sounds bad, let alone if you have to read it without any context.

After the end of class, your teacher is in the middle of scolding that doesn't seem to be close to a stopping point when you tune back into reality. Screw this. You have no patience to stand here and listen to this all day.
