Emmaline breaks out of her chains

The flames danced from Emmaline's hands, up her arms, snaking and rotating until they coiled around Emmaline’s shackles, she pushed her feet against the pole she was tied to and arched her back so that she could keep her body away from the fire, despite it being in her control; she didn’t want to get burned if she slipped.

The shackles snapped, causing her to fall the two feet that was suspended by. Instead of a hard landing, she fell onto a rug of matted animal furs that she hadn’t seen before. They made up a mockery of a kings chambers, patches of fur were stuck together and smelt of gnoll musk. It served as a grim reminder of why the Bravos were kept in there.

Emmaline stood up, the light cast by her melting handcuffs had drawn the attention of her neighbors. The gleeful singing of the corrupted girl had stopped, and the woman in chains began crying out.

"You're going to help me too, right? You're gonna get us out of here?" Her voice became increasingly manic and shrill as she realised that was not the case. It pained Fuu to feel like she had let someone down, she knew how terrifying the poor souls situation was first hand

“I haven’t forgotten about you” Fuu said, she wanted to say more, but was far too focused on planning her next steps.

Fuu spoke in a hushed voice.

"Okay, now get me out of here. I see no sign of the girl we’re after, and I’m not leaving anyone behind. That means we need to find our mark. She's probably with the gnolls right now. We could try to smoke out the Gnoll's and clear a path, but I'm more inclined to slaughter them all after what they've done to us."

Emmaline finished cutting down her leader and awaited further instruction.
