Important matter to attend to first

You're already thinking about what you want to do to or with Allison when you 2 get to the front door, and Abby comes out, dressed smartly like she's going work. She's holding a folder.

"Hey Allison! Hey John!" she greets you 2, then holds up the folder. "I'm just going to finalize the contract with Taylor."

Taylor. Shit, you forgot about her. She's still laying in your bed, unable to move on her own and not wanting to be here. While you'd prefer to spend some time with Allison, you know that this is a problem that you shouldn't put off handling.

"Oh, good, I caught you just in time. You can tear that up. It's not going to work out," you say.

"What? Why? She seemed so happy when I proposed it to her. And she even spent the night with you. Did something happen?" Abby asks. Allison looks on curiously, though she seems more eager to hit the showers and you reluctantly wave her on without you. Abby waits until Allison is out of earshot before she continues. "What happened? Should I be concerned? She already knows about all of this. If she attracts any attention to this estate of the people living here, it'll make everyone's lives very terrible."

"It's okay. Don't worry, I've got it handled," you try to assure Abby.

"Are you sure? I'm not just one of the girls here. I'm also your attorney. You can tell me anything."

You're tempted for a brief moment to tell Abby everything. The rings, the other mansion down the road, Taylor upstairs. Everything. But you change your mind as you open your mouth. No, Taylor is a cautionary tale that things don't always work out the way you want them to. "I know, just give me a few minutes to get cleaned up and changed. I'll meet you back in the living room," you say instead, heading in and upstairs. Once in the room, you stop time and rouse Taylor from her sleep. Then, using your mind control ring, you wipe her memory of the last day so that she has no recollection of the estate, you, or Abby approaching her about the contract. All she'll remember is being at home all day, watching TV and sleeping. Once you're done that, you find out where she lives and teleport her back to her home and then return to the estate alone.

With the mess taken care of, you let time resume and hop into the shower real quick and then get dressed to find Abby downstairs waiting patiently for you. Then, you make a story about how you and Taylor agreed that the arrangement wouldn't work and that you agreed to dissolve the contract in exchange for her silence. Abby seems skeptical, but she doesn't question your story. At the end, she sighs and shakes her head.

"You know what went wrong, right?" she asks, raising an eyebrow.

You shrug.

"Nigel always made the approach himself. He charmed each of these girls, myself included, into signing a contract with him. Usually it took a few dates, getting to know each other, easing them into the idea."

"I guess you're right. Sorry, I'm still new at this," you say sheepishly. Abby does have a point.

"It's okay. It's not an ordinary occurrence to suddenly come into a fortune and this situation that Nigel created. I think you just need some practice."

"What do you have in mind?"
