Becky makes her way through the forest

Becky climbed over roots and ducked under branches, thankful that the dense foliage would help mask her retreat from the Gnoll stronghold, though the constant crunching underfoot of leaves and branches counteracted the visual disguise by sending out audio flares for anyone that might be looking for her. Thankfully no one seemed to be following, and Becky could make her way back in peace.

The trees had an almost calm feel to them in the fading light, as though the world wasn't aware of the horrors that the Gnoll's were visiting upon this land and its people. Despite her usual nervousness, Becky found a certain righteous anger building up in her chest. She could hardly wait to gather her friends and see to it that these monsters were punished for their vile acts of savagery--they could surely handle these monsters easily if they all put their heads together and came up with a thorough plan using Becky's new information... couldn't they?
