A rider on a beast!

As you leap backwards, readying your defensive stance, that's when your eyes finally adjust to the beast in front of you. A female rider is sitting on top of some type of four legged tiger. This tiger, with it's giant teeth, sticking out of it's mouth, a sabre-tooth tiger? These giant beasts, about 9 feet long, standing about 3 feet tall, fangs sticking out of it's mouth by about a foot. A somewhat rather petite rider on top of the tiger, holding a giant flail. The shaft only about a foot long, the chain link, only about two feet long, but good lord, that spiked ball on the top was probably about a foot wide. Each individual spike on that ball, about an inch thick. You knew once she started to swing that around, there wasn't much that could block the impact of that weapon.

"Halt!" the female figure screams as the tiger jumps around, leaping from your left to right sides before letting out a giant growl "Raaaawwwrrrrrrrrr!" you feel the breath from the beast as well as a bit of saliva flying from it's mouth.

Your eyes can't help but go wide, you're still standing in your defensive position but you're basically scared shit-less. You can't move. "uhhh..." you grumble. "I bring no harm..." you eventually squeak out.

By the time the sabre-tooth tiger and it's rider comes to a halt, you're surrounded by about 8 other warriors of the Syndicate.

"I uhh..." you hesitate "I'm here to bring news to your captain!"

The lady on her steed stops moving, looking at you, the 8 guards take another step forward, encircling you.
