The not so obvious reaction

Chloe face looked very cute scrunched up in confusion, you would have appreciated it more if you weren't pouring your heart out to her a minute ago.

"Wait," she says, and for a second you feel like she does believe you. That stings a lot more than you expect. "Then why did Fiona apologize to me when I ran into her in the outside?" Now it's your turn to be confused. Fiona, your bitch of a sister apologizing, you have never heard her say the word sorry unless mom was angry before.

"What." Your disbelief apparent in your voice.

"It's true, she looked distraught when she said it too." Chloe continues holding her hands up in a placating motion. You hadn't really noticed but you were standing now. "She said that she was sorry and to tell you sorry for lying." Chloe finally said. "Jesse what is going on?"

You didn't know. You plopped back down on the bed and balled your hands on your knees, your still not quite used to how small they are. You barely respond to Chloe sitting beside you and wrapping you in a one arm hug, which you lean into. You didn't know how to feel at this point. You were still extremely angry with Fiona but you didn't know what to make of the apology.
