The Truth Spreads

Penelope makes her way back across campus. After a hard workout and a good fuck she was feeling absolutely fantastic. She holds her head up straight and confident as she walks. Before, when she had been so withdrawn and paranoid about not drawing attention to herself, she would walk with her head down, avoiding eye contact. As she walks she notices just how many heads she is turning, especially among the guys. One of the people she met at the gym actually waves at her. "Hey Penny!"

She nods with a smile, the attention was flattering. She knew attitudes would turn if her secret ever got out. Penny decided that she would do her very best to keep the as a secret a secret, but that she wouldn't do this at the expense of everything else. She would try to be careful, but if the secret got out...so be it!

Making her way through the dorm she once more admires the dozens of women that shared this section with her. She gets to her room and lets herself in, she couldn't wait to get in the shower.

As she walks in Jennifer and Teddy break apart with a gasp. They both looked flustered and their hair was tussled. They had obviously been making out. With how strict the den mother was Penny was surprised that the door wasn't made to be open while he visited.

Penny just laughs. "Ooops! So sorry guys, I desperately need a shower then I'll get the hell out of your way."

Jennifer then whispers, even though nobody else could possibly hear her. "Oh sorry Penny. He climbed up to the window from outside, no one knows he's in here. I just had to let him in. He..." She looks at him. "...he wants to spend the night. But I said no way!"

Teddy is smiling proudly at his daredevil entry. "Hey Penny." He says. The room was on the third floor so it was no small feat to get in here that way. Penny suspected this wasn't the first time these two had done this, just the first time they got caught. Penny was supposed to be away for the weekend so Ted probably thought the coast was clear.

Penny says in a bright happy voice. "Let him stay Jennifer! I don't care. Heck, I can run distraction if Ms Glasscock comes by. I'll try not to peek...too much." She gives them a little knowing wink.

Teddy is nodding, happy to have an ally in his cause. Jennifer was going to let him stay anyways when she thought Penny would be gone, so she reluctantly agrees. She loved sleeping with Teddy in her bed, having someone to snuggle up to. It is then Penny notices that Teddy kept staring at her. A strange overly agitated stare. Not that weird considering her revealing upper body outfit, but it wasn't her upper body he was staring at. It was straight at her groin. He tried desperately not to be obvious about it, which somehow made it even more obvious.

Penny fixes her roommate with an angry stare. "You told him!" She was furious. "You couldn't even keep my secret for a few hours!"

Jennifer winces. "I'm sorry! It was just so crazy. I had to tell someone. Teddy swore he wouldn't talk. And...he has such a thing about it..."

Ted stood up with his hands out, trying to pacify Penny. "I swear! I swear Penny! Not a single word."

Penny grabs him by the front of the shirt and lifts him up against the wall, pinning him there. Both he and Jen are stunned at her strength. "You better not say a word!"

"I won't! I won't!" He screeches as he squirms in her iron grip.

Penny puts him down. It wasn't his fault she reminds herself. She looks at Jennifer with a hurt expression. "I thought I could trust you."

Jennifer is beside herself. "I won't tell another soul Penny. I'm so sorry. It was just so unbelievable. I needed to talk to someone about it. And then Teddy showed up...I'm sorry."

Teddy is straightening his shirt. "I KNEW the rumors were true. I knew you guys existed. Now that I know I swear I'll be quiet about it."

Penny shakes her head, feeling hurt and betrayed. "I'm going for a shower." She grabs a change of clothes and a few things and heads into their small attached washroom. This was upsetting. She didn't know Teddy that well and didn't know if she could trust him, and now she really had doubts about if she could trust Jen. No wonder the family kept the secret held so tightly, people just couldn't keep their damn mouths shut. She was now happy she had gotten some incriminating photos of Joey, just in case.

She reaches into the small stand up shower and turns on the water. She suddenly felt homesick again. Being out in the world with this secret was going to be tough without a support network to lean on. She wonders what it was like back in the heyday, before she was born, when her small family all lived in the same city. Those must have been glorious times.
