Wait until the plane has landed

No way Katie would stand up and show her diaper again. She decided to just sit it out. Once the plane would land people would leave and she would just wait a few minutes more.

Just 30 more minutes until she would arrive. Katie tried to play a game on her phone, but it was empty. With the plane already descending it was also too late to start reading a book or watch a movie on the seat display. So for the remaining minutes Katie just stared out the window.

During the entire flight turbulence had been pretty bad, but now in the closing stages it was getting even worse. The plane was constantly shaking, and people in front of her were even starting to panic.

Katie started to notice the plane was also flying extremely low with just 15 minutes to go. The reason why came pretty quick, as suddenly a runway appeared and the plane touched down. Had they already arrived?

"Ladies and Gentleman" said the speaker. "We had to make an emergency landing, please leave the plane while leaving your hand luggage behind."

Katie had to leave her luggage behind? Why?

The plane came to a stop and the doors were opened. The stewardesses let out the yellow inflatable slide. Behind Katie another slide was let out. People around her got up and made their way to the slide, but Katie didn't know what to do.

In a rush the plane was nearly empty. Stewardesses were waiting for everyone in line but Katie was the only one still sitting. Was she going to get her luggage?
