What follows?
Submission
The reptile woman's declaration left no doubt that this was the same siren from before. Now, her unusual "torturing" of the reptile and those shivering bone cracking sounds made sense. You weren't sure if all sirens like her could possess and transform others, but that's the only explanation seeing how she has the same tones and essence of water around her, only she is now like the rest of the people who worshipped her, a lizard. Yet, a lizard may be too simplifying to describe her current form. There's not a damn lizard that looks like her and she's almost as tall as a minotaur!
The reptiles all quivered under her presence and then slowly, one by one, dropped their weapons, kneeling down.
"Our beloved goddessss...your beauty has excccceeded our imagination! We beg you, pleassse don't leave usss!" One of the reptiles begged, her words shaking them all. Just as they witnessed the evolution of the goddess they worshipped for many years, now she finally speaks to them and asks them to let them leave?
The siren hums, growing a little guilty. "You have kept me for far too long and not once have any of you been able to understand my feelings. To be honest, I am no god-"
"Ah! How dare all of you question the one you worshiped for so long!" Nathraena suddenly interjects in a hasty manner. She forces herself to snap out of staring at the sudden transformation of the siren and with the reptiles momentarily stopped, she doesn't want the siren to mess up the opportunity her presence provided. She too, is able to now understand the siren thanks to her current form.
The siren is taken aback by the drow's interjection. All she wanted to do was finally clear misunderstandings, yet not only did the actions of the drow **** her to take the most heartwrenching choice she had to make in her life, possessing and remolding one of the lizard men who was about to be killed, she was now being pushed to continue this facade!
Seeing that the siren wasn't understanding the golden opportunity she created and is almost about to risk disrupting it, you quickly moved to her side. To see a human male get close to their goddess causes some of the reptiles to snarl and almost get up, yet when the siren sees you approaching, she decides to listen, raising her claws to keep any lizard men from acting up.
"Listen," you whisper, "I know you are attached to these creatures after being captive for so long, but you need to keep up the appearance of their goddess. I don't know how you are able to transform so drastically, but that doesn't matter right now. Until we are able to **** them to accept our leave, you can't reveal yourself. You wanted to avoid a fight, right?"
The siren's lizard eyes widen and then after some thought, she silently nod. You breath a sigh of relief and stare at the Nathraena, who nods appreciatively.
"She is right, my brothers. I have stayed here for far too long. These people are my...friends. You should not attack them and instead, welcome them with open arms. I ask of you to do this, please."
Her sincerity struck cords within the lizard men they never realized they had. To show mercy and hospitality to outsiders was something that never even crossed their minds, yet under the request of their "goddess", they can't help but lower their heads in acknowledgement.
"T-then...pleassse...stay with us for a little while. W-we...we will overlook the **** of our brothern if it meanssss we are able to learn more about you. We...beg of you!"
Seeing all the reptiles bowing their heads and pleading was a unbelievable sight to you, who had seen many types of reptile creatures. Even Nathraena wasn't able to help but whistle in amazement.
The siren grows confused, wondering what she should do. Her head lowers to you, giving you the final authority as she waits for your advice.
A perfect chance to rest. What will you do?
