What's next?
Send Bone on an errand.
“As it happens, Bone,” Johanna spoke, turning away from him and using her shirt to wipe his semen from her body, “We do have a loaded agenda today, so I don’t have time for your games.” Somewhat clean, Johanna looked down at the soiled cloth in her hands and shook her head in disgust. “I clearly need to go take a bath. While I’m doing that, I want you to haul up some more of the shipwrecked lumber from the beach.”
If Bone had any objection to spending his morning dragging heavy pieces of wood back and forth, he didn’t voice them. “Fine. But you know,” He started, drawing close to Johanna and running a hand up her back, “If we don’t want to make such a mess next time, I can finish in your mouth, or in- Gah!”
A hard elbow to the gut stopped the pirate from finishing his sentence. “You are not coming inside me next time, Bone. Forget about it.” Johanna jerked away from him and began to move towards the beach, wanting to wash away the physical evidence of this morning’s activities. It wasn’t until she reached the ocean that Johanna realized that she had all but admitted that there would, in fact, be a next time.
Johanna took her time bathing, but no amount of scrubbing was going to erase her memories of that morning. She had to settle for washing away the dirt, sweat, and juices that stained her body and her shirt, before finally getting dressed again, clothes clinging to her damp skin, and heading inland.
Johanna didn’t head directly for camp, instead electing to head towards one of the rocky cliffs they had passed on their way up the mountain yesterday. There, she collected a handful of various-sized stones, then finally made her way back. She was pleased to see that, if nothing else, Bone was still willing to follow instructions, and there was a decent-sized pile of scrap lumber piled near the lean-to. Bone himself was nowhere to be seen, which Johanna was completely fine with. The more time she had to herself before confronting him again, the better.
Johanna set to work sorting the lumber into piles by size, then began to examine the stones she had gathered, briefly testing them against each other, before finding one that seemed firm, but just brittle enough that she could chip away at it with some of the other stones. She was by no means an expert craftsman, but after about a bit of primitive stonework, she had successfully managed to craft a small blade, a larger axehead, and even a basic platter for cooking or eating off of. Johanna stood up to stretch her arms as she admired her work, when it suddenly dawned on her that she had been back at the camp for well over an hour, but had yet to see Bone.
“It’s not that I necessarily want to see him,” She reasoned, tucking the blade into her boot and deciding in which direction to search, “It’s just that I don’t trust him to be alone for this long…”
Where does Johanna search for Bone? Does she find him?
