Time passes slowly, and you **** yourself to be patient, waiting for something to happen. Checking your watch you find that almost two hours have passed since you took up your position. You decide to give it another hour then quit if nothing happens.

Almost as you decide that a light comes on in a lower floor window. Curious, you move closer, finding that the window is about six feet above the ground, making it impossible for you to look in without help. You're about to write further investigation off when a figure comes to the window and pulls the drapes back, sliding the window up a few inches.
