At the Mellon building

You head towards the Mellon Building, reasoning that since it houses the second year students, it offers the best chance of success for your plan. They're unlikely to get up to mischief inside the building, but with any luck you might be able to follow some of them and learn something to your advantage.

Like many of the buildings on campus, the immediate grounds of Mellon Building are graced with ornamental bushes and trees, providing ample cover for you. Standing in the deep shadow of the foliage you are almost invisible, and you settle down to wait and hope.

There are lights shining from windows on the upper floors of the building, and you hear faint sounds of music coming from an open window somewhere above you. Your vantage point gives you a view of the front door, and a partial view of a side door, putting you in what you hope is perfect position.
