Not quite yet. You want to go out.

"Whew! Not yet." You say. "I need some time to recover."

She smiles. "Fair enough." She sits up. "I'm going to go take a shower. Want to play another game after that?"

"Actually." You say. "What about going out? Want to go see a movie? Maybe some dinner?"

Elsie freezes, a funny look on her face, she slowly turns her head to look at you. "Go out? You've never asked me to do that before."

"Yeah, well, I never really thought about it before." You smile. "C'mon, just you and me El. Let's get out of the house." Despite how pretty she was you knew Elsie rarely went out with friends and never out on dates. The big family secret kept her locked up at home most nights.

A huge grin spreads across her face. "Yeah! Yeah! Let me shower and get ready."

You wink at her. "I'm a bit of a mess myself. Mind if I join you?" She nods.

The pair of you share a playful shower together. While there is a lot of joking and teasing nothing sexual happens. You come out of it clean and refreshed.

You head to your separate rooms and get ready. Even though it was just a movie with your sister you decide to really fancy up for it. You wear your best trousers and a nice blue collared shirt. You pop back into the bathroom and shave and put on some scent. Looking at yourself in the mirror you would swear you were going on a date with Allison.

As you walk out into the hallway you notice Elsie standing there. She was stunning! She wore her nicest dress, a blue and green affair with a leafy vine design along one side. It was a nice blend of old fashioned and new. She had pinned one side of her hair back with a clip and had put on a subtle bit of make up and perfume. Her hands were clasped at her waist in front of her. Wow, she would turn some heads tonight!

You smile. "You look amazing!"

She laughs. "You too Jesse."

Fiona comes up the stairs and sees the two of you staring at each other. "What are you two losers up to?"

You give her a glare. "None of your business."

"Why are you all dressed up?"

"I said, none of your business!"

She just rolls her eyes. "Whatever. Later losers." She heads into her room. Elsie hides a little giggle, happy to see you brush Fiona off like that.

As you head down the stairs together your mother notices you from the living room. She raises her eyebrows.

"Oh my! Where are you two good looking kids off to?" She asks. "If I didn't know better..." She trails off.

Elsie answers. "We're just heading out. To go see a movie." You nod.

You see some sort of understanding dawn in your mother's eyes. Her mood dims. "Oh...uh. That's nice. Um..." She was struggling with something. "Why don't you guys stay in? You could have some fun with each other here."

"We just did." You admit. You and Elsie both share a conspiratorial giggle. You stare at each other far too long. "We just wanted to get out for a bit. We never get to do that."

Your mother is now concerned for some weird reason. "Oh. I see." She says flatly. "Jesse, Elsie, the family stuff, it's just about the sex. You know that right? It's only physical."

You both roll your eyes. You had no idea what she was on about. "Yeah, yeah. Of course, of course. It's just a movie, geez." You say. "See you later Mom."

The pair of you turn to leave, you could tell your mother wanted to say something more but she is hesitant. In the moment of hesitation you were already out the door.

"She was acting weird." Elsie observes.

"No kidding." You agree. "You'd swear she thought we were going out on a date or something."

You both share a nervous laugh.

"Hey...I've got a full tank of gas." You say. "Why don't we head to the next town over? They've just built a new theater over there. New arcade and everything."

She nods excitedly. "That sounds nice."

You didn't say anything but you wanted to go to an area where you wouldn't run into people you knew. You didn't know why, but it just wasn't something you wanted to deal with.

A night out with your little sister Elsie. This was going to be fun!
