You do. And you have help

"Stop it! Stop it!" Sondra shrieks, looking aghast at her friend and Grace struggling on the ground.

You step forward, grabbing the girl on top, which happens to be Grace, and trying to pull her away. To your surprise, you're joined by another man and between the two of you you manage to separate the struggling teens.

You pull them apart, you holding Grace while he restrains a furious Val. Both girls look a little the worse for wear, but you have to say that Val looks like she took the worst of it. There's a trickle of blood from her nose, and the knee of her leggings is ripped, while Grace seems to be red and flustered but generally unharmed. Finding herself in your grasp she seems to calm down, and you can feel the tension in her body melting away.

"What the hell is going on here?" the newcomer asks, looking at you for clarification.

"This bitch attacked me!" Val screams before you can say a word. "And that old perv tried to **** me! You let me go!" she adds in a furious shriek as she struggles in his arms.

"I'm Mason Carter, biology," you tell him. "The one you have hold of made an insulting remark and when I called her on it she lost her temper. Then this young lady joined in and the two of them went at it."

"Darnell Sharp, History," he replies. "Stop that you nasty little brat!" he adds as Val struggles and stamps on his foot attempting to get away.

"I'll get you fired too!" she screams. "Sondra go get Ms. Naylor! Hurry! You bastards are going to pay for this!"

Sondra makes no move to obey, instead looking at Val with disappointment and scorn. She folds her arms over her breasts and looks at the ground. If anything, that enrages Val even more. She redoubles her efforts to break free of Darnell, stamping again on his foot.

"Fuck!" he snarls in pain, then puts a hand around her throat and hisses something into her ear. Whatever he says has an immediate effect. Val's eyes widen and she stops struggling, even though she still stares at you and Grace with raw hatred.

"Are you calm now?" you ask Grace. "Can I let you go and trust you not to do something stupid?" She gives a nod and a murmured assent. When you release her she stands contritely, her hands clasped in front of her, her head bowed.

"What do we do with them?" Darnell asks. "Do we take them to the Dean of Students, or deal with it ourselves?"
