Earth, Air, And Fire
*Bing... Bing... Bing... Ding!*
My phone pops up an alert:
[Gotcha!]
[Aerodactyl was Caught!]
[Stats:]
[LVL: 10]
[HP: 101]
[Atk: 114]
[Def: 75]
[S-Atk: 70]
[S-Def: 90]
[Speed: 144.]
[Types: Rock/Flying.]
[Pokédex Entry: Aerodactyl, the Terradayctle Pokémon.]
[Known in the skies of the prehistoric Pokémon world this ancient flying Pokémon mostly flies by spreading its wings and gliding on thermals. It has a mouth full of serrated teeth like those of other carnivores of its era, which it uses to cut apart food for easy digestion. Though primarily a carnivorous Pokémon it is also fond of some nuts and fruits. It makes its home in warm mountain regions near the sea, nesting on sheltered cliffs. Aerodactyl are unnaturally strong for their size and body type: they can even carry some humans aloft. For unknown reasons the species is strongly skewed towards males, which often fight to the **** over mates and territory. It screams high pitched cries as it hunts, which are used for echolocation. This species is known to be vicious, and trainers are advised to use caution when handling them. Especial care must be taken if the Aerodactyl perceives something as threatening it's nest, mate, or offspring: they have been known to REBELL if their Trainer tries to restrain them from killing such a threat or if they decide their Trainer IS one. Until the Pokémon Transformation the Aerodactyl was extinct, but it now lives once more.]
:Well, that's not very reassuring.: I think to myself. I turn and look at where the Charmander was hiding and it's still there, peaking from behind the side of the store.
"Hey little fella, you hungry?" I ask, pulling out a candy bar from the pack on the back of my chair and holding it out.
The Charmander shakes his head and starts gesturing toward the Pokéball with the Aerodactyl in it...
"Huh? I'd almost swear you were, trying, to; say; something..." The Charmander has started nodding, and I suddenly remember that Charmander are sapient, about as smart as humans...
"Um, are you afraid I'm going to try to catch you like the Aerodactyl?" I ask.
The Charmander nods vigorously...
"Don't worry, that was just to protect myself and everyone else, you're safe," I say, trying not to be as scary as I look...
