"...what?" I ask.

"Your clothes, Tammy. We'll be taking your clothes." My mother repeats.

"No, I heard you... but what?" I ask again, astonished by what I just heard. Did she really just say they're going to take my clothes away?

"You take everything we've ever given you for granted, and frankly we're sick of it. There are millions of children who would kill to have your wardrobe, and not once have you thanked us for anything! Well, we've decided that you're clothes should go to someone that would actually be grateful for them, than some brat who doesn't care. Maybe this'll get you to be grateful for once." My mom says firmly. Now I've done it.

"... you're kidding, right? You can't just take my fucking clothes! I mean, seriously, what the fuck?" I explode. I can't tell if they're serious or just trying to scare me, but either way that is NOT cool.

"Look at me, do I look like I'm playing around?" My mom says with a stern look on her face. I shake my head no. "Good, because I can assure you I am completely serious. Starting NOW, we will be taking your clothes to the nearest donation center. I'm sorry, I know it seems tough, but you need to learn this lesson, Tammy."

"I am NOT donating my fucking clothes. They're MINE!" I shout furiously. How dare they even consider doing something this ridiculous!

"If I recall, it's been ME who has paid for every piece of goddamn clothing you own. So actually, they're mine. I can do whatever I want with them." My dad retorts smugly.

I stand with my mouth agape. Can he really just take my clothes from me, just because he bought them?

While I'm frozen in shock, my parents take the opportunity to prove that this punishment is indeed real. My dad walks into the halllway and returns a few seconds later with two large boxes and placed them in front of my closet. Immediately my parents begin removing everything I own from the dresser and closet and placing them into the boxes. Shirts, dresses, shorts, pants, everything!

Still powerless to move to do anything about the situation, I watch in horror as they rummage through my underwear as well! My skin turns red from embarrassment as I witness my mom and dad touching and grabbing my most private garments. I almost die when my dad holds up one of my bras; it looks like he was checking the size!!

After ten minutes of this ordeal, my parents finally finish putting every item of clothing in the boxe. My dad picks up one and stacks it on the other, then picks up the stack and leaves my room with it!

I finally snap out of it.

"Holy shit, that's all my clothes!" I exclaim in shock.

"Yup. And your father will be taking them to the donation center in just a few minutes. It didn't have to come to this, Tammy. All you had to do was listen for once, and take half a day to look for a job.

"What am I going to wear?" I ask anxiously. "I can't just wear this outfit everyday!"

I look down to see what I'm wearing. With nothing to do and no obligations, I've opted for comfort lately, which means a long t-shirt, a bra, a thong, and yoga shorts. But due to the length of the t-shirt, it looks like the t-shirt is all that I'm wearing!

"Well..." my mother begins. I can tell I'm not going to like what I'm about to hear....
