Morning Encounters

I jump into the shower to try and wake myself up and to forget my dreams. The first one was just flat out weird. Only someone with a twisted mind would think of killing a person like that! What does that say about me then? Should I be concerned?

And the second one was nice, but might never come true. I don't really know my classmates that well, so I don't even know if we all are gonna get along. Though something in my gut is telling me, we will. And the part with Kyoko, was nothing but wishful thinking. Nothing more, nothing less.

I exit the shower and dry off. When I go to put my uniform on, I find that the pants are too tight on me. If I get a boner I won't be able to hide it at all. Ok, simple solution, don't get turned on! It's not like I go to a school with extremely attractive girls or anything.....

I quickly put my dress shirt, pants and shoes on when I look at my watch. It's currently 7:50am. Crap, I better hurry up and leave. I grab my blazer and wrap the red tie around my neck.

"Shoot, I forgot how to tie this thing", I mumble as I walk out my door.

"Do you need some help?", I hear a familiar voice say.

I turn to my right to see Kyoko standing outside her door. She's wearing the girl's uniform, which is very similar to the guy's uniform, except they wear a skirt and don't have a tie.

My face instantly flushes, "O-Oh hey, Kyoko! Yeah, I could use some help. See, I kind of forgot how the hell you tie one of these", I say referring to the red tie.

She sighs and shakes her, "Well, I can't leave you like this. You'll get a detention for being out of dress code"

My eyes widen, "I can get a detention for that? "

She gives me an annoyed look, "If you break even just one rule, you'll receive a detention. Get too many detentions and you could face suspension or even worse, expulsion. Let me guess, you didn't even open the rule book in your e-handbook?"

I chuckle and scratch the back of my head, "Guess I can't keep any secrets from the Ultimate Detective, huh?"

"I'm pretty sure even Hiro would be able to see right through you", she says as she steps closer to me and takes my tie.

The shade of red on my face gets even darker.

"Don't get use to this. After today, you are on your own", she says sternly.

I smile widely, "Then I'll try to cherish this time we're spending together"

She rolls her eyes as she finishes tying the red tie around my neck, "Guess I should get used to hearing corny pick up lines like that from the "Ultimate Boyfriend", huh?"

"What? Do you doubt my skills, Ms. Kirigiri?", I smirk, "Maybe you need to see my talent at work? Then how about you and I have dinner tonight, to ease your curiosity?"

She shots me a glare, "Trust me, I'm definitely not that curious, Mr. Doe"

She turns and quickly leaves, not even giving me second glance.

All and all, I think that went okay. I could tell just from talking to her yesterday that it was going to take a lot to get her to fall for me. She might actually be my greatest challenge yet! Plus, she actually remembered my name and talent.

"Hey, John!", I hear another familiar voice.

I quickly recognize the voice and turn around to see Makoto walking over to me, "Yo Makoto!"

"Where'd you go yesterday? You totally ditched me and Sayaka", Makoto asks as I put my blazer on.

"Oh yeah, sorry about that dude. I didn't wanna be a third wheel, so I figured I'd finish looking around and meeting people. But more importantly, how'd it go with Sayaka?" I elbow Makoto as we walk to the cafeteria, "I need all the details"

"Well not much happened after you left. She did say she wants to have breakfast with us though", Makoto says.

"Us? You mean, she wanted me to come too?", I ask.

"Yep, she was upset cause she never got to properly introduce herself to you. We probably shouldn't keep her waiting. Let's hurry!", Makoto says as he starts walking faster.

I'm about to eat breakfast with the Sayaka Maizono. I'm in heaven.

As the two of us wake into the cafeteria we see that's it's full of students from our class and some of the other classes. After we grab some food, we search the cafeteria for Sayaka.

"Hey Makoto! Over here!", we hear someone call out.

Makoto looks at the direction the voice came from and smiles, "There she is!"

I follow Makoto and he leads me to a table where Sayaka is sitting by herself, smiling widely at us.

"Hey Sayaka! Sorry for keeping you waiting", Makoto says as he sits infront of her.

I'm about to sit next to Makoto but Sayaka looks at me and pats the seat next her, "Why don't you sit here?"

"Um, yeah sure thing!", I say with a bright smile.

I sit next to her and she gives me a cute smile. Man, Sayaka is so adorable.

"Awww, you really think I'm cute?", Sayaka says with a blush.

"Well, I mean who doesn't. W-Wait, how'd you know what I was saying?!", I ask with wide eyes.

"Oh, it's cause I'm psychic", she says with a serious look.

"W-What?! Are you being serious?", I ask

She starts laughing, "Of course not! I just have good intuition!"

Makoto chuckles, "Don't feel too bad, John. She pulled the same trick on me"

Sayaka has an interesting sense of humor. Just from the few minutes I've spent with her, I can tell I was right about her. Just her presence alone can brighten a whole room. Her smile makes you feel like everything is okay.

I sigh happily, causing Sayaka to look my way. After staring at me for a few seconds, her cheeks become flushed and she shyly looks away.

Shoot! Was she able to figure out what I was thinking?

"Hey, Makoto. I forgot that get a drink. Could you please get me a glass of water? I would really appreciate it!", she gives Makoto a pleading look.

"S-Sure thing, Sayaka!", Makoto quickly gets up and leaves.

She totally has him wrapped around her finger.

"Ahem, you know, its rude to not to properly introduce yourself ", Sayaka shots me a playfully glare.

"Oh right, please excuse my bad manners! I am John Doe the Ultimate Boufriend", I smile.

"That's much better! As you already know, I'm Sayaka Maizono the Ultimate Popstar. It's a pleasure to meet you", she brings her hand up for a handshake.

I smile as I pull her hand to my face and kiss the top of her hand, "The pleasure is all mine, Ms. Maizono"

Her face becomes bright red as she smirks, "Wow, a gentleman and a sweet talker? You truly are a the Ultimate Boyfriend, huh?"

"I won't deny being a gentleman, but what do you mean sweet talker?", I ask as I take a bite out of a dounut.

She rolls her eyes, "I'm not an idiot, John. I know you were the one who came up with all those compliments yesterday"

I nearly **** on my dounut. Crap! Maybe I'm really not the Ultimate Wingman afterall.

"I-I have no clue what you are talking about", I stammer.

"Makoto is way to shy to come up with anything like that. But you, you're the Ultimate Boyfriend, love is like your natuve language isn't it? I am curious though, did you really mean everything you said yesterday?", she blushes and shyly looks away from me.

Well, she already knows I'm the one who made those compliments, so I probably shouldn't lie anymore.

"Well yeah, I did. I remember the first time I ever saw you preform. It was a few years ago, I had just gotten into a bad argument with a friend over a girl. I felt like crap, but then I looked at the tv and saw you preforming. Watching you dance and sing on that stage made me forget about everything that went wrong. Just looking at your smile, filed me with hope that day. Even today, it still has that effect on me", I just full realized what I just said and face palmed, "Gosh, I must sound like such a loser, huh?"

"No not at all", she says as she looks at me, I can see a certain glimmer in her eyes.

She continues, "It's always been my dream to be able to fill people with hope through my performances. To know my music was able to have such an effect on someone is amazing"

I chuckle, "It's not wasn't even the music that put me at ease. It was all entirely you, Sayaka. Your presence alone, makes me feel relaxed"

"Hey, John? Would you like to have lunch together or something? I would love to spend more time with you", Sayaka asks with a large smile on her face.

"Um, s-sure. Sounds like fun", I say with wide eyes.

"Great! I'll let you know when our date is, later! See ya", she gives me a quick peck on the cheek before she gets up and leaves.

The Sayaka Maizono just gave me a kiss on the cheek and I now have a date with her. I LOVE THIS SCHOOL!!!

Makoto finally returns and sighs, "You won't believe it. As soon as I tried to grab a glass for Sayaka, they all shattered instantly! Some luck I have. Hey, where'd Sayaka go?"

Makoto would kill me if he knew about my date with her. I'm definitely not the Ultimate Wingman.

"She said she was gonna go ahead to class. We should probably leave soon too", I say.

"Man, and I barely got the chance to eat any of my food", Makoto sighs.

"Here, you can have my last dounut. You can eat while we walk", I say as I hand him my dounut.

"Better than nothing I suppose", he shrugs as he takes me dounut before we had out of the cafeteria.

The first day of classes at Hope's Peak Academy. I wonder what this school and my classmates have in store for me. Only one way to find out.
