Sweet Dreams and Nightmares

The dorm is basically what I excepted. A small bookshelf with a table next to it. A small desk thats next to the average sized bed. And there's always a small bathroom with the usual appliances. It's just your average dorm, was kind of expecting something big and flashy. Oh well, as long as I have a bed and a toilet I'll be fine.

On the top of the bed, was a pile of fancy looking clothes that all looked the same and my suitcase.

I assume the fancy looking clothes are my school uniform. The uniform consists of a white dress shirt, a red tie, a brown blazer and brown pants. There are about five sets of these clothes, one for every weekday.

I'm way to tired to sort out all my stuff. So, I drop my suitcase on the floor and place the pile of school uniforms on the desk. I take a quick shower and soon pass out in my bed.

I have the strangest dream that night. It starts with me waking up in what seems to a classroom, sitting in a desk. I hear a loud banging noise coming from behind me and it feels like I'm moving backwards.

"W-What.....what's going one?", I say as I look behind me, only to see that the desk I'm sitting at is on a conveyor belt moving backwards towards what seems a car crusher!

Wait, IM MOVING TOWARDS THE CAR CRUSHER!!!!

I tell myself to move but my body doesn't respond. I'm stuck there shaking in my seat as I move closer and closer to the car crusher. I begin holding my breath, causing my face to turn purple. The car crusher is above me now, about to kill me.

As it falls down to crush, I wake up and jump up from my bed, releasing a loud shout.

I begin panting, trying to calm myself down. That dream almost felt real, I pity the guy who dies like that.

I need to think about something that will calm me down. Something that makes me feel happy. She immediately came to my mind. Just thinking about the lavander haired beauty I had the pleasure of meeting that day gets my heart racing.

Kyoko Kirigiri, the Ultimate Detective. I definitely need to get to know her. Maybe Makoto knows a thing or two about her. He seems to know everyone here.

Makoto Naegi, the Ultimate Lucky Student and more importantly the first friend I made here. He doesn't seem like the most confident person in the world. But, a part of me thinks that he is actually a pretty reliable person. At least when Sayaka isn't around.

"I'm....lucky to *yawn* make a friend like that on the.....first day", I mumble as I fall into a deep sleep.

The dream I have this time is much different from the previous one. I'm in the cafeteria with all my classmates, except Byakuya, Mukuro, the pink-haired girl and the girl with the glasses.

We are all laughing, enjoying each other's company. Makoto is trying to talk to Sayaka without getting nervous. Sakura and Mondo are having an arm wrestling competition while Hina and Chiro cheer them on. Celeste just beat Hifumi, Hiro, Taka and Leon at cards. The four boys are laughing about how badly they just got beat, while Celeste smiles as she takes her winnings.

Although I just met these people, I have feeling we are all going to be fast friends.

And what am I doing? I'm talking to Kyoko. I don't even hear what I'm saying to her, but it's causing her to blush and laugh softly.

The next thing I know, I'm at an ice cream pallor, sitting at a booth. Sitting in front of me is Kyoko.

She uses her gloved hand to brush her hair back, a blush and smile are on her face as she says, "I never knew it was possible to have this much fun with someone before. Thank you John, we should really do this again sometime soon".

I wish I could just stay in this dream, but I hear a loud, "Ding Dong Bing Bong", that pulls me out of my dream.

"Good Morning, Hope's Peak Academy! This is Headmaster Kirigiri speaking! It is currently 7:30 am. You have about an hour to get dressed and eat some breakfast before you are due to your classes. I hope you all have a hope filled day", I hear Mr Kirigiri say on the loud speakers.

I sigh and slowly sit up. Maybe, just maybe, I'll be able to make that dream with Kyoko a reality.
