Ai would rather die than to have her and her sister serve the Matriarchs. After 24 years she’s finally come to see her sister in a way she never has before. Yet now she is being told to let someone else have that kind of relationship with her? No deal.
Ai quickly checks what her options are. Eve is tied to the ground with webbing. It is exhausting her so she needs to get her out quickly. Only the Spiderling is not going to wait to let her cut Eve free so that is not an option. She also can’t take the Spiderling head on. It is too well defended on the front, unless …
Ai starts running straight towards the spiderling. She is getting exhausted, so what she’s doing is more of a ‘hail Mary’ than it is a real strategy. While she is charging, the Spiderling raises its body to prepare to shoot. That is when Ai dodges to the side and preforms a roll. The Spiderling pushes its behind underneath itself, pointing at where Ai used to be and shoots webbing from its spinneret. It misses, but only barely. Ai quickly gets back onto her feet and continues her mad dash towards the spiderling. It brings it’s body back in a normal stance and lowers itself to normal position. Before it can get low enough to the ground, Ai falls to her knees and lets her shins slide over the ground. As she slides underneath the Spiderling, she stabs the Lupick claw into the Spiderling lord’s exposed belly and cuts it open from front to back. Behind her Spiderling blood sprays over the floor. The Spiderling contorts and writhes, but then falls on its back and curls up its legs, dead.
Upon the defeat of the last Spiderling lord, Matriarch Tristan waves her hand and lets four streams of clear water fall onto Eve’s hands and feet.
“The water will cause the webbing to lose adhesion.” Tristan explains. “Wash the webbing off your sister and take thirty minutes to rest.”
“Thirty?” Minerva asks. “Come on, let’s do the third challenge now.”
Tristan turns to Minerva and says, “Defeat your opponent when she is at her strongest and you show strength. Defeat your opponent when she is at her weakest, and you show weakness.”
“Ufh, fine.” Minerva sighs.
With the help of the water, Ai manages to release Eve. The Union sisters take some time given to them by Tristan to rest. Minerva, who gets bored of the waiting, summons one of her Handmaidens and fucks her. She makes a point of it to moan loudly, as well as making her handmaiden moan so loud. Eve suspects the handmaiden that got summoned was one of her most vocal ones, just to mess with Eve and her sister. Ai however is busy cutting a piece of armor off one of the spiderling lords legs. It would make for an interesting shield.
After the thirty minutes resting period Minerva is back on her chair next to Tristan.
“Your time is up.” Tristan says. “It is time for the last challenge. But before that, I would like to give you one last chance to surrender. This time however, instead of choosing a Matriarch to serve..."
"One of you may be transformed into a Matriarch." Minerva interrupts. "If either one of you wished to become a Matriarch, we would transform you, and let you decide the fate of your sister."
Eve laughs, and says "What, you think we'd take you up on that offer after seeing what you do?"
Minerva simply says, "I didn't think you would take it, no." but then turns a sideways glance towards Ai, and simply makes direct eye contact with her for a second, and flashes a brief, knowing smile, as she says, "Now, it would allow one of you to take the other as a bride, if you so wished..."
