They just have to be fast
“Let’s see.” Eve says, observing the situation. “A big open field, aerial units on either side. There is no way for us to cross without being seen.”
“Thing we can outrun them?” Ai suggests.
Eve shrugs and says, “I guess it’s the only way.”
The sisters get ready for a sprint. Eve counts down from three and when she says ‘go’ the two of them start running as fast as they can.
As soon as they enter the room the harpies see them. The several Harpies fly towards them and start flying in circles around the two. Ai jabs with her spear to the Harpies that dare get too close, keeping them away. Eve dodges them as best she can.
When they are almost there one of the harpies grabs Eve’s arm with her bird-leg. But Eve quickly stabs the harpy with a Lupick claw, prompting her to let go as the Harpy screams in pain..
The Union sisters are getting tired. They give it their all one more time and finally get reach the white tunnel on the other side. But it looks like the Harpies are about ready to fly into the Tunnel, and chase after them.
"...Guess their gonna keep following us." Ai said.
"Keep moving." Eve said quickly, as the two prepared to run as the Harpies began to fly into the tunnel after them.
