An ominous gate

As the two sisters continued moving onward through the Tower's upper floors, they eventually came to large open chamber with a couple of higher plateau to the side, and some smaller hills throughout the chamber. On the other end of the chamber was a large circular passage, but instead of the usual red biomass walls and floors, on the inside of the chamber, the passage onward was white floors and walls.

Ai motioned for Eveline to be quite, as she pointed to the two plateaus, where Eveline saw a couple of...bird women talking to each other?

"...Harpies." Ai said quietly. "They...just be very quiet. If we want to investigate this place...we just have to get past them. Lucky for us too, there's usually a...Grand Harvester, I heard they were called, guarding this place. Four Legs, two masses of tentacles for arms, and I'm not sure what else they can do, because I never bothered to try and fight one. Those things are fucking nightmares, and I know we couldn't get past one if it was here."

"...So, we sneak past these Harpies, and we can enter that section of the tower?" Eveline said.

Ai nodded, and said "This path goes straight up. Wherever this leads...it leads to the top. Has to be something important, I just don't know...how much farther it is. It could be straight up that path...or it could be quite a bit further. But I doubt there's anything stronger in this tower then those Grand Harvesters."

Eveline thought about the Scorpion she witnessed earlier, and said..."I'm sorry, but I think your wrong about that one Ai."
