at the Village gate

John and Itachi are waiting on top of the gate to the entrance to the leaf village for the team they are watching over to leave the village. "so how do you like the uniform" Itachi asks.

"I like it. but it's going to take a while to get used to wearing the mask" John said adjusting the mask over his face. "yeah it was the same for me when I first joined" Itachi said. "not that I'm complaining Itachi. but why was I chosen to join the Anbu and not Sasuke" John asked. "because he doesn't have what it takes to be an Anbu member. and he's too weak even for a Uchiha" Itachi said.

all of a sudden John and Itachi see Four people running towards the gate." there they are" Itachi said. as they get close John sees that it is Tenten and her team 'i hope everything goes ok. because TenTen will easily tell it's me' John thought to himself. "remember your codename is Fox and mine is Crow" Itachi said before jumping off the gate and followed team Guy.

(time skip to Land of Fire-Land of Woods Border)

John and {itach were in the tree's watching the handoff take place, As The Land of Woods team took the leaf scroll they made a signal and Loads of people in Demon Masks appeared from a big puff of smoke.once the smoke cleared they use earth style: rock fall. John immediately jumped down. within a second John was on the grown and used earth style: mud wall to stop the rocks that were falling down.

at the same time, Itachi was sneaking up behind them and taking them out. about halfway through they noticed Itachi picking them off and started to run away. but John took the rest out using Chidori. John and Itachi looked at each other, nodded their head and disappeared just as fast as the appeared.

"I'll report back to the Hokage and Danzo about the mission. you go home and rest. will meet up later" Itachi said before he walked away
