A bath, then it's time to find a more impressive residence

After commanding the blank-eyed Dennis to prepare a hot bath, the Enchantress casually informs you I'm going to rest for a while... and leaves you in full control.

You try for a bit to get a response out of her to no avail, so maybe she's actually 'sleeping'? Your best guess is that turning Dennis into a human puppet tired her out. In any case, you decide to fully enjoy your bath while she rests...

Nearly an hour later, you climb out of the water, feeling thoroughly cleaned and refreshed. Dennis, standing motionlessly nearby, shows no reaction to your nude body; it seems like there's really nothing left up there.

"Fetch me a towel." You unconsciously mirror the Enchantress' tone a bit while commanding Dennis, and are relieved to see him obediently do as ordered. It creeps you out a little, having the old man standing there as you dry yourself off, but you figure you'll get used to it sooner or later.

Once you've dressed yourself - you don't feel quite ready to order your 'thrall' to do it - you take a guided tour of the house. Dennis doesn't offer any information on his own, but explains anything you ask in a flat tone. He's got quite the selection of magical spells and objects scattered about his little residence, to the point where you're a little overwhelmed even with the soulless wizard explaining everything.

By the time you're getting bored of hearing about the properties of magical beast parts, you hear a familiar voice in your head. Done playing with the thrall? You should tell him to pack up and get ready to leave. This hovel isn't a suitable dwelling for the Enchantress.

You absentmindedly tell Dennis to gather up everything of value he owns, then return your attention to the Enchantress. After interacting with him for a while now, it's not hard to dismiss him as a sort of automaton. He doesn't seem to do anything at all on his own accord, and you're pretty certain he'd stand still until he collapsed from hunger or tiredness if you ignored him.

"Where should we move to then? Are we going to gather up a bunch of thralls?" Though her methods are questionable, the Enchantress has already made a powerful wizard into a mindless ****, and you're curious to see what'll come next.

The Enchantress chuckles in your head. No, that would be a pain. They're too high-maintenance. The old pervert would have been a bit dangerous if we did things in half measures, but most men - and women - will do what we want with more subtle forms of control. We'll save the soul-stealing for special cases.

You nod, that sounds reasonable. Having to explicitly tell a bunch of people exactly what to do would probably get old fast.

For now, let's find somewhere less...dingy. I'm certain one of the local noblemen or wealthy businessmen will...give shelter to a lady in need.

Her sultry, confident tone makes you certain that any man she sets eyes on will give her a lot more than shelter.
