Back In Action

Upon entering the squad room we find Thereaux on the phone "You're sure an ice cream seller is taking picture of kids at the wading pool?" My ears pick up and my mind thinks 'No I can't pass for a kid at the wading pool!' Then Thereaux blurts out "And teen at the Snack Shack!" Now my eyes light up and 'Bingo!' whizzes through my thought.

Checking the camera pack, grabbing my jacket I'm about to leave when Thereaux hangs up and calls out "Hold on! got some new equipment for you!" Rummaging around his desktop to produce a bluetooth ear piece. "This will give you direct communications to us here on channel one and to any patrol cars in the area on channel two." Great I can really use something like that out in the field, plus it looks like a hair barrette, bonus!

"Let's do a soundcheck before you go!" Demonstrating how to switch channels just by touching the piece. I go out into the hall before testing the piece

"Thereaux is never getting a date!"

"FUNNY GRASPPER!" As he comes out into the hall "Just freaking hillarious, can just imagine what the patrol cars are going to get!" turning to go back in "Get out while I'm still in the mood to cover you!"

With that I leave, seven minutes later i'm inside the park making my way to the Snack Shack. Grabbing a bag of chips and a coke, I turn around only to be temporarily blinded by flash of light. Then before I know what's going on A card is jammed into my right pants pocket along with a hand.

"You must pose for me in my studio!" As my vision returns to normal I see a red headed woman with a Canon camera in around her neck. "I pay real good money and the shots are all above board, so what do you say?" sliding her arm around my shoulders,trying to get me to walk away with her. Thinking she must be the one the call was about I speak up

"Okay but I have to be back here in an hour!" Touching the bluetooth switching channels. "So where are we going?

"Back to my studio apartment for a little photo shoot!"
