Chapter 6 by ErisAphrodite ErisAphrodite

What does Vivia decide to do?

Plead.

She couldn't just throw herself from the horse to try and escape, as she would gain only more bruises for the effort and still be tied up to be dragged right back. Vivia let out a heavy sigh as she abandoned her meager struggles, and decided to swallow her pride. “Please,” she said as she turned to meet the dark eyes of the woman behind her, “let me go. I'll give you whatever you want, just let me go.”

Her captor simply smiled. “You come with me,” she repeated. “That is my want.”

Clearly Vivia herself was the only thing this woman wanted. Why, she couldn't imagine, but she had an inkling of her immediate fate: an uncomfortable trip on horseback.

Her captor spurred the horse forth at a slow pace, its hooves softly scraping the dry and rocky ground they traveled. Vivia could see nothing but the barren wasteland of the Heqstal Hills for leagues ahead, and knew that her trip would be a long one.

After the first number of steps, the horse's gait changed, coming off of the flat stretch of dirt they were on and onto a section of uneven land. Vivia was given a thorough reminder of the shape of her seat, grunting as she was rocked upon the saddle's firm leather horn.

“Where are you taking me, then?” Vivia asked, wanting to distract herself from her discomfort.

“We will arrive in time,” the dark-eyed woman said softly, her head close behind Vivia's ear.

She turned enough to see her captor's smile, unnerved as it turned to a devious smirk when the woman flicked the reins. The horse beneath them picked up its pace, cantering faster and rocking Vivia even more upon the saddle.

With a stifled gasp, Vivia bit down on her tongue and doubled over, at least as much as she could. Any attempt to reposition herself led to less-than-welcomed movement between her legs. The horse's jarring rhythm was bouncing her against her wishes, yet that seemed to be what her captor wished all along.

Stubbornly, Vivia managed to lean back enough to ease the pressure upon her groin, yet it put her in a position where the dark-eyed woman was practically embracing her, her shoulders up against the woman's chest. She thought she might endure that much, until the horse stepped down a slight edge in the land and roughly sent the saddle's horn back between her legs.

She let out a squeak she didn't even know she could make, falling back onto the saddle where the leather protrusions could dig into her with every bounding step the horse made. She was helpless to stop it short of tumbling off the saddle to a painful landing on the rocks. All she could do was hope they slowed down again, or reached their destination soon.

Did they slow?
