“Listen, whoever you are.” Kirie tells the woman. “I’ve got troops that have been captured and as their captain I have to do something to get them out of here.”

“Haven’t you been listening?” the woman say apologetically, “It’s a trick! They’re never going to release them! That siren just wants you to surrender yourself to the matriarch!”

The eyes in the ceiling look at Kirie, then the woman, then Kirie again. They are following the women yelling at each other, providing a visual of the scene to whoever created them.

“If I don’t at least try it I will never know!” Kirie yells back at the woman.

The angry blonde woman then turns to Elliot and says, “This is all your fault, Towerspawn. I will have your head.”

The blonde charges at Elliot, aiming her spiderleg-spear at the red haired siren.

Despite her having been ordered to bring Kirie back to the matriarch alive, she has no interest in dying while doing so.

As she tries to hide behind her captain Elliot starts crying “Help! Kirie! She’s going to kill me!”

The woman’s attack is sloppy and amateuristic. Thanks to her military training, Kirie easily finds an opening which she can exploit. She uses the Lupick claw she collected to push the spiderleg-spear out of the way, widening the woman’s gap in her defenses. Then Kirie punches her in the forehead.

“Auw!” The woman yells in pain and immediately after she receives another punch from Kirie in her solar plexus.

The woman’s body relaxes and she falls on the ground.

“Is she dead?” Elliot asks.

“No, she fainted.” Kirie says. “Let’s bring her with us to the matriarch. Maybe it’ll help with our diplomacy.

Elliot picks up the woman and carries her while Kirie picks up the woman’s makeshift spear. As they leave, the eye’s in the ceiling withdraw.

Lydia is sitting on her throne. She is stroking Ciel’s hair. She and her handmaiden are enjoying the little show Roxy and Lina are preforming for them. The siren and the fully infected soldier are 69-ing.

Suddenly one of the walls opens like a sphincter and Elliot, carrying a blonde naked woman comes in with Kirie following next to her.

“You’ve returned.” Lydia says above Roxy and Lina’s moans.

“I have.” Kirie says before Elliot can say anything. “We need to talk.”

Lydia cocks her head and says, “Really now?”

“I am willing to give myself up to you.” Kirie announces, “But only if you release my troops.”

Lydia doesn’t even need to think about it, she immediately gives Kirie her answer.

“No.”

“Why not?” Kirie demands.

“Why on earth should I make deals to be given something if I can simply take it.” Lydia responds calmly.

Suddenly a score or bony organic protrusions grow from the fleshy ground around Kirie and Elliot and trap them in a makeshift cage.

Kirie is surprised with this show of ****. Who knew a matriarch has such control of this tower?

Kirie quickly steels herself and tightens her grip on the spiderleg spear and Lupick claw.

“You have to agree to this deal, because I can offer you something you can’t otherwise get.”

Then Kirie puts her hand on her chest, between her breasts and says, “Me, uninfected.”

Lydia frowns her eyebrows and asks, “What do you mean.”

“Once a woman is infected with whatever disease or corruption you put in them, it is easier to capture them. I’ve seen it happen to Alice when a raptor got to her the first time, and to Frost when a Lupick licked her. I don’t know what Roxy did to Lina, and I was a fool for not seeing the signs, but she somehow infected her too. So if it is so much easier to capture women by infecting them, why go through the trouble of keeping me and Elliot uninfected before being brought to you in the first place.”

Lydia’s brow unfrowns when she hears Kirie say this. Could she have figured it out?

“When we first got here, I also heard you say you weren’t interested in Lina because of her infection.” Kirie continues.

“Oh? You heard that?” Lydia asks.

“I did.” Kirie says. Then she puts the spear between her left arm and torso and puts the claw between her legs. Next Kirie holds one hand in front of Elliot’s large breast and uses the other to squeeze it. A squirt of milk sprays on her fingers and she then brings her dirty fingers to her face.

“I’m quite sure siren’s milk can infect a person. So agree to my demands or I will infect myself.”

Lydia digs her fingers in the armrests of her throne and takes a deep breath.

“Right then. You’re a good negotiator. And a bold one as well.” Lydia says.

She gets up from her chair and walks up to Kirie.

“You’re right, I do need you uninfected. However, once started the infection will only grow until the victim wishes to be part of our community. If I do let your soldiers walk, it is only a matter of time until they return. Thus making your sacrifice rather pointless.”

As Lydia walks past Lina she caresses the girl’s pink hair.

“So instead, I propose you something a little different.” Lydia continues. “Become a matriarch, just like me. You will have your own throne room here in the tower, and you’ll be able to care for any and all of your troops. You can live here safe and sound as my peer.”

“You would really grant me such power?” Kirie asks astonished.

When Lydia comes close enough to the bony cage four of the spikes withdraw, allowing her to step inside the cage.

“You drive a hard bargain.” Lydia says, “And you also brought an end to the little game I was playing with dear Ai.”

Lydia caresses the unknown woman’s blonde hair.

“I’m going to miss toying with her.”

Lydia looks back at Kirie and asks, “So, what’ll it be?”
