You ask for Burtrexx in the dead of night

Author's note: this is my first time writing for this site.

When night comes you lie on your bed role wide awake. Your thoughts consumed by Burtrexx, you must see her again. You dress in what you would consider casual attire but would be seen by most as better than their best formal wear. You leave your tent into the cold night air. You look to the Guard posted outside your tent and order him "Fetch me the Dragon-kin prisoner known as Burtrexx, the one who claims to be Empress. "

The Guard looks puzzled at first. "Your Majesty, What matters do you have to discuss that cannot wait until morning?"

"Do not Question me, Sir, I am your king. My matters are private. Now, bring Burtrexx here at once" You reply. You wait just inside your tent as the guard fetches Burtrexx. He leads the female Dragon-kin into the tent and fastened her restraints to the central tent pole.

"I do not appreciate being dragged here in the dead of night, your Majesty!" remarked Burtrexx in an acidic tone. Clearly, you had disturbed her sleep.

" I have been thinking and now I can't stop thinking about my plan for you." You reply " you said that your people consider you their leader and that now I have bested you, you will obey me. This has given me an idea that would lead to peace between our races. "

" You could have told me this tomorrow and my mood would have been better which would benefit greatly in peace talks." interjected the Dragon lady and despite her draconic features, you could tell she was scowling.

"Not the part about how I plan to seal the deal!" You shout back unused to being interrupted or talked to in such a manner. You approach her and whisper "Join me in my bed tonight and tomorrow we shall wed. You shall be Empress of your people and Queen of mine. Together we will rule both our lands and have the power to defeat all who challenge us"
