When you wake up things are completely different.
The light is florescent bright. You're surrounded on three sides by metal walls.
Are those mirrors? Why did I leave lights on?
You rub your eyes and roll over. You find that there is no edge to your bed. You're not even on a mattress, just what looks like a large cushion. The floor and ceiling are all metal too. The fourth wall is made of interlocking metal bars.
You realize you're in some sort of a cage!
You panic, race to the door and shake it.
Your first summer home from college is stressful enough. The last thing you need is to be by aliens! Unfortunately for you, they're look for someone a bit... different. They're pressed for time; dark matter fuel doesn't grow on trees and all. They decide to cut a few corners and make some, less than minor, alterations.
