With the night falling the merchants are already packing back their wares for the night but some of them are waiting a little as the see new customers approaching. I check my purse, I have {Gold} coins left.

"Master, could you buy me a dress please. This tunic is showing too much and I'm not wearing anything underneath. Look, this blue dress is only two shillings. " asks Viviane.

Another merchant has a bunch of trinkets, flasks, parchment and pouches on a table. I spot a lot of things that are obviously fake or ineffective. His prices are high but maybe I could bargain and trade an useful item in exchange for something I have. {if trinket = 1} the aquamarine trinket could prove useful here, provided I had a little magic to sweeten the deal. {else} I have nothing of interest to him that I am willing to part with. {endif}

The food I took will last me a few more days. With such a long and uncertain trip ahead it might be more careful to stock on extra food. For 7 shillings I should be able to buy enough rations to last 3 weeks (by making them last). It's a big investment but it could prove capital.
