Get Back to The Cave First

Right now all you care about is getting back to the cave and you redouble your speed as you go. Somehow the female manages to keep her screaming up the whole way up the side of the valley and as you pass through the rocky gorge you seriously consider just bashing her skull in against the sheer walls.

You don’t, the need for a female overriding even that instinct as you descend. However by the time you make it back to the cave your patience has worn as thin as it has ever been. You toss her down on to the cold stone floor of the cave hard. You watch as she rolls over, suddenly you become aware of the fact that she lost her covering somewhere along the way. As she scrambles around to face you you see something in her eyes you had not expected, defiance.

The hard look she gives you as she shivers on the floor reminds you of some of the females the Elder Males who had raised you had brought back. Most of them had simply shouted or screamed until they finally died or tried to run and were killed. Yet there had been those who would take everything in silence, they would sit in the corner of the cave, watching everything around them. Never crying out or even trying to run, they would just sit and wait for the right moment.

You recall being nursed by one like that, the memory of her cold flinty eyes watching you as you suckled at her breast was burnt into your mind. She had been one of the few to ever get away from the cave. One night she had slipped out of the cave and into the night, the Elders never even found a body. She was just gone.

Now you find yourself looking down at a woman with similar eyes, who sat with her legs pulled to her chest as she stared unblinkingly at you.

The march across the mountains had left you feeling tired and hungry, you glance over at the carcass of a Deer you left from this morning with half the meat still on the bones. However the lust you had felt still holds some sway over you as you look back over to the female.
