Gavin's dilemma

Gavin sat on the couch in the living area, waiting for Zack to come out of his room. Gavin was going to broach the topic of Zack helping him out with his women issues, and he was just waiting for his best friend. Zack had always been a late riser, Gavin looked down at his watch and saw that it was 10:30, what could be keeping him? He's not usually this late Gavin thought. Just then, Gavin saw Lisa walked in through the door, and stopped her. "Hey Lisa, good morning!"

"Morning Gavin, what'cha doing out here by yourself?"

"Just waiting for Zack to come out of his room, I need to chat with him about something."

"Well, Zack isn't in his room, I saw him enter the washroom earlier, so he's probably just finishing up a shower. You know how he takes overly long showers, well see ya!" She said as she walked towards the kitchen to get some breakfast. Gavin had never known Zack to take extremely long showers, but then again, the only time he really knew of Zack taking showers was at school after basketball, and Gavin really didn't blame him for not taking a long shower there. _So, Zack could be a while, what should I do? Vicky is in the kitchen with Heather telling her how much of a pussy I am, I'm sure, _Gavin thought dishearteningly. Gavin felt the couch lurch and an exhalation of breath, as he looked at the person who at broke him out of his self musings. He was shocked to see Kurt sitting there, glancing at him.

"Hey Kurt, what can I do for you?" Gavin said neutrally. Kurt just looked at him and rubbed his unshaven face now with a 12 o'clock shadow.

"I can work with this." He seemed to mumble to himself.

"Sorry, what was that?" Gavin asked

"Oh not to worry, Gavin old pal. It seems as if you're worried about something, I have time since I'm waiting for Bishop to stop hogging all the water."

"I don't have any worries, I'm just waiting for Zack, that's all."

"Hmm, it's Vicky isn't it. What would you think, if I said that I could help in that particular subject?"
