The life of an adventurer sounds good

You don't feel like swapping your life of working on a farm for spending a lot of time studying, after all you weren't about to turn your back on a static if not simple life, to stay in one place for too long. With your mind made up you step toward the sunset orange portal, take a moment to look behind you at the town and with a deep breath your press on through the one way passage to begin your new life. The sensation you feel as you step through is overwhelming, as you feel your very essence of being torn asunder, as you visibly watch your body bend and twist into nothing, while your head throbs with a growing pain, unlike any **** assisted one you've ever experienced. You begin to question if you've made a mistake but thankfully the reality distorting experience is short as soon your find yourself stumbling out the other end. Thankfully due to your eleven grace, you quickly regain your footing and you don't start your new life with your face in the dirt.

You stumble out into a bustling town, large stone buildings with an amber glow of life and light giving them and inviting look as you suddenly feel the cold night air, as a chilly breeze brushes against the areas of exposed skin in your outfit. You decide that again a tavern might provide you a base to gather yourself, and learn of your surroundings, besides you might have camping gear, but if what you were told about monsters roaming the lands of aurora were true then maybe a reliable weapon might not go amiss, you'd also have to try and work out what kind of weapon might best suit you, but again this could all wait until what will pass as morning in this place.

While you've only been awake for what feels like an hour or so, the portal seems to of drained you of all your energy, and while you might not need a full nights sleep, a room to lie down in and a bar to sit and gather information while drinking sounds like a perfect plan for now, alternatively you could try and see if the markets were open, you can see a few stalls from where you were and they did see to be active with a good few people wandering about.
