His ears twitched as he began to waken, someone was coming, he could hear their shoes slapping on the floor out in the hall. Something inside him told him to hide, it could be a predator. Leon scrambled out of the hospital bed and hid in the closet. He listened as the door opened and shut. The loud stomping assaulted leon's new ears. He sniffed at the air and detected a familiar scent. It was the doctor. It was then he wondered why he was so afraid, he was in a hospital not a forest. Slowly he slid open the door and stood meekly before the doctor. "Ah mr.masters there you are." She said in that way doctors have of greeting patients. "I...I dont know why-" "It was what I wanted to discuss with you." The doctor waved leon to sit on the bed and he followed her gentle command. "We've found that patients who've been infect change more than just externally. Not only will you gain heightened senses but some of your animals natural instincts." "I thought foxes were predators?" The good doctor chuckled to herself "Even predators can be prey. Now are you ready to continue your examination before lunch?"
